Changing NPCs--I want a different maid So, I'm playing a few families at the same time. In my first family the maid is the typical "french maid" girl. In my second house the maid is that guy with the blue gloves. Does anyone know how to make your own custom maids? And is there a way you can choose maids or at least fire and replace one of them? I don't like the french maid outfit. peace
Me, too. I really dislike the guy "maid". He's a little snobby but at least I don't have to worry about anyone developing a crush him! lol Is the choice of maids random? I wondered if guys called to hire they got the french maid and women got the guy. If that's the case I'll have guys call to hire from now on!
It's pretty random...I've gotten an assortment of lady and men maids.. Usually if your Sim falls in love or has a crush with one of the maids, that made starts appearing often.
It's not as far as I can tell. So far I've played only all male families. I always get the french maid first, and if someone else has hired her then I get the guy with gloves. I really, really want to personalize him/ peace
I don't know anything about customizing the maids, but I have read in a few threads that if you want to change from male to female (or vice versa), just fire the one you have, then call services and the maid service. The icon you see (either male or female) will be the one you get. If it's not the one you want, hang up and keep trying till you get the gender you prefer. Hope that helps.
