how does one create custom hair colors -- without creating custom hair

I want to create a custom hiar color--like an dark blue--that I can apply to all hairstyles. Yet with BS I seem to be to only edit hairstyles one by one. Is there a way that anyone has found to create a nother hair color in the pallette (much like we now have brown, red, yellow and black?)

Short answer is "genetics". That's where you 'export' the files from to do the modification, not on the hairstyles themselves.

For some reason, when I choose genetics it lets me choose hair, then a hair color, but then it requires that I choose a hair STYLE to export. It then exports the hairstyles for all five age categories in that hair color. I can then edit those hair styles to be a specific color, but I can only choose that particular hairstyle; I now have a blue hairstyle, but I still don't have a swatch of blue.

    Any ideas?

    Oh I see...

I see, you want to add a custom hair color to the color selector. Not a custom hair style / color like you get from exporting.

Sorry, no can do. Each custom color must be applied to each separate style. At least until an expansion or patch changes it. Or someone hacks it. Whichever.

Yes, Rowanstaff is correct as far as I know.

My earlier post clearly misunderstood the question.
