    Where to find *small* houses?

I like to play very small houses: 1-2 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. Most of the (free) download sites for Sims2 that I've seen mostly have enormous, multi-level houses. Does anyone know a free site with smaller and medium sized houses?

The big houses look cool, but on my computer it is very time consuming to navigate around the house, and also the Sim people take much longer to walk from the bedroom to the kitchen (or whatever).

    My Houses

I've made/modified a few houses that can be found here.

I have a few larger ones that I'm going to try to clean up to put on my site but I also think that small houses are nice. Huge ones can be fun but with the time it takes to move a sim around it can get annoying at times. Not to mention the bills are based on the size of your total estate so having a large house is not cheap.

You might find em in Smallville...hhehe jk jk jk

Try poking around in the Sims 2 Exchange...there should be some smaller homes, however wish you the best finding anything there...There is this obsession about bigger = better

    Starter Home For Under 20k

2 Storey House for $19,900 (This home is fully equipped with the bare essentials.)

There is a space downstairs for a toilet and upstairs there are a further 2 unfurnished bedrooms that can be furnished to suit your sims' needs. If desired the master bedroom could easily be partitioned off to create an ensuite bathroom.

    The garden is completely unfinished.

No problem ... I am bit busy at the moment but I will be adding more houses in the same general genre over the next few weeks.

I also plan to make an album in the form of a tutorial showing one family's use of one of my designs to show how they enlarged extend and upgrade the house (and how much each job costed).

I most often like single floor designs since these are the best way of keeping track of multiple sims.

Josh - you PM'd me yesterday and I replied ... I'm still waiting for your feedback .... ;)

I agree. Those 4-5 story mansions are a nightmare to play, especially with more than one Sim.
