    Unable to cook problem

I've recently bought a outdoor grill for the 2nd floor balcany, I have 2 sims, both have cooking skills at 9, after I bought it, my female sim can still use the fridge for all its normal purposes, but my male sim is now only able to use "grill", "check food supply" and "juggle bottle", not even allowed to have a snack from the fridge.

Has anyone encountered this problem or similar ?

There are cooking problems pertaining to overmaxed cooking skills, so if your Sim had a high cooking level, then gained MORE points than 10 in a chance card, he will be unable to cook anything. You can correct this with SimPE. If this isn't the case, though, that's just weird. Try clicking on a regular stove instead?

    What more can SimPE do?
All I know is that it's incapable of removing memories. But surely there's more then changing skils that it CAN do?

    I just got it

I just got SimPE. I do not plan to use it on my current neighborhood unless something goes HORRIBLY wrong and needs to be fixed. I do however plan to use it on my next from scratch neighborhood to establish bad and good relationships from the start.

I use it regularly to reattach the marriages of the deceased so the family trees will look like the pregenerated ones the Maxian families have, since TS2 currently disconnects the marriages of dead people, even if the survivor never remarries. I've also found it useful for isolating and removing "crud" from the saves, but I wouldn't recommend imitating this procedure, it's sort of experimental. And, of course, it can fix things gone horribly wrong, like the cooking bug. It can also let you create your inbred redneck hillbilly family, generate larger families than can be generated at creation time, and other fun things.

So, please help me on how to get SimPE and correct that, it would really suck to have a sim that is incapable of feeding himself even snacks that kids can get.. only thing he can eat is burgers and water :(
