Floor and Wall Tool I would like to see before another expansion pack comes out is a tool to make custom floors and walls. You had it for The Sims. WHy not Sims2?
Homecrafter 2 I had read awhile back that it was coming out before Christmas, I don't create anything but I love to download & I too am sick of not having hardly any walls or floors. I just wish that Maxis would hurry up with tools for objects too. I get really fed up with them at times & think I'm just going to quit fooling with their stuff, but then I weaken. But Maxis should start reconsidering they're delay's because people eventually might get fed up. After all the company wouldn't be who they are now if it wasn't for fans, especially the creaters.
While I've heard from fans that they think something is coming out "in December" the most I've heard from Maxis is a hint that the new EP will have the tool bundled with it. (And even that is *only* a hint, not a promise.) I suspect that Maxis is so busy with the upcoming EPs that they don't have time to send too much out. (Fortunately, MaxoidMonkey is doing objects but they seem to be holiday related more than anything else.) Before TS2, people needed something to hold their interest for TS2. Hence the BodyShop download. However, now they can play TS2 and work with the improved Body Shop, as well as constructing new neighborhoods (since we now have not only the instructions but the actual game to try them out in.) It's not like they haven't given us anything that we can do until the EP (and hopefully more tools) come out. That's so unlike before TS2, especially since the game came out 6 months later than it was expected. I suspect that unless they had to put off the release of the first EP, we won't be getting anything of that magnitude *before* the EP. (And in spite of the hints, they've not promised the tools for any specific time.)
