I think there might be a glitch in one of my families, but I'm not sure...

My computer broke and the man (a Fortune aspiration) wanted to call the repairman. So he did, and like 2-3 hours later (all time Sim time...), after I paused the game to go grab some food, my wife started moving slowly and everything slowed down. Like 30 minutes before that I saw a repairwoman picking up an old newspaper. It confused me, but I didn't rele pay attention. Well when the game slowed down there were almost 20 repair people in my living room. It now takes almost half a real minute for one sim minute to pass, even at 3 mode. Saving in that family takes forever, but buying and selling stuff doesn't. Leaving the house is slow too.

Oh, and like a week before this happened I called to order more groceries and when I thought the groceries wouldn't arrive before one of my family members was starving I decided to order pizza. Ever since then every day, once or twice a day, a pizza person and grocery person are standing in my kitchen. They aren't holding anything and I can't talk to them until they've been there for like 2 hours, then there is only like half an hour I can talk to them. But they don't bother me so i just ignore them....

Any suggestion on what this can be? SHould I move my family out of the house and into another one? ANd if I should, I have a baby, will the baby disappear like in Sims 1? And will my people with jobs lose their jobs?

wow I've never encountered that problem nor heard of it  however I think moving your family out and into another house seems like a good idea. And even if you moved your amily out of the current house, the baby will still remain in the family and your sims won't lose their jobs :)

Ive had problems with 2 sim families also. 1 sim family had a son and the other had a daughter *kinda planned to get them married :p *. When the son got married, obviously the girl would move in. And it happened and everything was normal. But when I left the house and went to neighbourhood mode, I noticed that her house description still had her picture there, so I tried to enter the house but the game crashed on me EVERYTIME  and when I tried to enter the house of the newlyweds, it crashed also  . I had to move all the families out and delete the house to the house directory and replace them back into the neighbourhood. After I did that, everything was back to normal in that house

I've had these problem a couple of times and I had to keep doing that *even for different families* weird buggy maybe?

Sounds like you've got some parallel worlds interfering with each other, resulting in such weird behaviour like time slowing down, 20 repair people (those are actually coming from another plane) at the same time, repairwomen who think they're cleaning ladies and stuff like that. Oh, I think my mind was altered during last night's episode of Charmed, nevermind...

You shouldn't lose a baby if you move your sims out. You will however lose stuff like aspiration rewards like money trees and job rewards like the golf putting game.

I have seen reports of this sort of thing happening before. Can't remember off hand if there is a simple cure for it, tho. I'll do a search for it when I have a moment to spare.

:-o yeah, I've had this happen a couple of times to diferent familes. it gets annyoing. BUt it takes more like 5 of my minutes for one of theirs to pass. The first family it happened on I just left it on all night and when I came back out it was fine :-S
