    New to Sims

    Hello People!!
Im thinking about getting the Sims 2 but as an average sort of gamer im not sure that therell be enough to make me want to play. Are there challenges involved or what is it the drives the game forward?

Any help would be appreciated as i cant make up my mind!!!

I have become addicted to the sims. Its great to run someones life and tell them what to do! the sims 2 graphics are terrific that Im never going back to the sims 1 after playing this. There are so many faces, clothes, makeup etc to choose from and the female adult sim can become pregnant and she does everything a human pregnant woman would do ie. throw up, eat more and go to the toilet more often. In the end she gives birth to a gorgeous little sim. You wont regreat getting it. The game was surposed to be for my daughter but we both love playing it and have our own neighborhood. Oh and you can also download new stuff for your sims game too.

I have been a sims addict since sims1 and I must say I find it a really addictive game. I have played other games like neverwinter nights and warcraft but I always come back to this one. My sims lead a very utopian lifestyle. They have amazing lives and then I get so attached to them I can't bear to let them die (I am currently trying to rectify this as my neighbourhoods are getting really populated  ) I tell all my friends, it's like a version of barbie for grown-ups. You play again and get involved in your characters and lead lives that you wouldn't normally get to lead. You can have an elf as your mother or an alien as your sister. You can fall in love with the boy next door or lead a life of solitary confinement. You can live a lifetime and achieve your goals and pass on your legacy to your children all within the space of a few normal days. It's fabulous. You will love it. :D

The game is so open-ended that you can make your own challenges. You can do that through their careers, or to keep them in "Platnim" mode, or to raise children, or romantically, or whatever. There are nights when I just cannot go to bed until I get that toddler raised to a child, or that big promotion my wealth-sim wants so desperately.
