Simlogical hacks I was on the fence about where the best place to put this was (here or community finds.) But since it's hacked stuff, I figure it's safer here. Simlogical is doing more hacking, this time for TS2. One of the things that I am planning on checking out is their hack to prevent people from getting upset about locked doors (like the visitors who won't use any of the many bathrooms in the house except for the one which is locked because it's off the owner Sim's bedroom.) Simlogical has some good stuff, although the no-route-failure thing isn't really so much something Inge made, as it is something that works really well with any number of things that restrict access, such as locked doors, or deliberately misplaced furniture. It's definitely a must-have. There's only so many times you care to see that "can't get there" temper tantrum. Once you have a pretty good idea how to place things so they're USABLE, it's a pretty sure bet anything you HAVEN'T placed to be usable is intentionally made to be unusable.

I don't worry so much about the people in the house "can't get there" temper tantrums (as you say, placing things well takes care of that.) What I was frustrated with was the visitor avoiding the open bathroom I placed right by the front door beside them in favor of the family's bathrooms upstairs (where I don't want the guests so are locked.) Whether it was done by Inge or someone else, I really appreciate this little hack. Visitors are now using the visitor bathrooms instead of complaining they can't get to the family bathrooms and then leaving because they are too far gone in bathroom need (because they spent too much time complaining.) So thanks to whoever made that hack!
