Marriage vs Move in question I wanted to get my pretty sim hooked up with bad boy Dustin Broke. She wanted to fall in love and marry and he's a fortune sims wanting to marry a rich sim. I got them all hot for each other and they got engaged. I wanted to arrange a nice marriage but it was rather chaos, with my youngest turning into a child in the midst of it all and Dustin deciding to change into his robber work outfit right after the ceremony. Despite the chaos it went rather well with the party being a success and both sims fufilling their wishes, especially Dustin. However I wasn't satisfied with that because I wanted a NICE ceremony not chaos, so I kept exiting and trying again. Finally I had Dustin move in, figuring I'd have more control over his actions and he wouldn't leave for work right before the ceremony. That worked as expected however now his marry-a-rich-sim wish is no longer satisfied. What gives? I wish I could just go back to the beginning and try but I've already saved the game after I had him move in (but before the marriage)
so let me get this straight dustin had a 'MARRY A RICH SIM' want, and when you had the wedding and they got married it didnt get fufilled ??? is that right??
You only satisfy "Marry a Rich Sim" if Sim that marries in brings at least 50K, or your sim moves into a family with greater than 50K. Due to the way marriage name changes work, this can be tricky to arrange. You get nothing if both sims already live together.
