I guess that is all the info you need. This is what is happening. I installed the sims 2 fine. When I try to open it to play I get an error message that states Please insert correct cd rom and restart application. It is the correct cd. I purchased it from a retailer so it wasnt burned. I even exchanged my first copy because I thought it was something wrong with the cd. It is the pc version not the dvd version. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling countless times. I have no burning programs on my pc. I altered the compatability wizard as well, still no luck. I am desperate for help. I have literally spent over 8 hours researching the web to find a fix. Please help. ( If any additional info is needed please let me know, Ill be happy to provide )

    Thanks.
