    How do I.........?

I have read the instruction page for submitting clothing files, yet I still am clueless. I have zipped the project folder, but what is the "body shop preview" file? If I'm not making any sense in my asking, please give me detailed step by detailed step instructions. I spend alot of spare time creating clothing and would like to submit some of my work.

    thanks

Please someone answer, I am trying to be patient. The instruction page says "Put the preview file from body shop." put it where? in the zip file? ok, where do i find the preview file from body shop to put it in my zip file? and what is the "1 pixel border" mean? the template picture is not available so i have no idea about anything........

Can you tell us where you found this "instruction page" ... a web address would be helpful.

You need to make a preview file by taking a screen shot of the outfit either in Body Shop (which is all we had when the guidelines were written) or CAS. You can look at the ones already on the website for ideas. I'm not sure what the actual pixel size of the image has to be, but when they say they need a 1 pixel border it means that they want 1 pixel on each edge which is blank as a border around the preview picture you make.

Unfortunately, you have to make the preview using the cut/paste and cropping in your paint program. You definitely don't want to use the pics you see when choosing the clothes in CAS. Instead, have your "model" wear the outfit and then do a PrtScnSysRq (print screen), paste that into your paint program and then cut it down to size and put the border around it. (Exactly how you do those steps depends on which paint program you have. Your paint program manual or the help button on your paint program can give you the instructions for your particular paint program.)

Once you have your preview done, include it in the zip with the package file for your outfit.

Ah. I more or less guessed it. The 'instruction page' is part of the World Sims.

I am having issues with the WorldSims db. Most of my clicks from the http://www.worldsims.org/ portal produce progressively more weird results the deeper in I venture. I don't know if it's a Norton related issue ... don't care much anymore. :p I am squeezing the last few days out of NIS 2004 before making a final decison re going with Bitdefender.
