The Expansion Pack Shall Cometh Once More Well I'm off folks. Gotta enjoy my yearly vacation in Hawaii at some point, and decided to choose President's Day Weekend. Don't forget to salute some of our great Presidents of the past! Hahaha, okay, you probably figured out I'm just pulling your leg. But to put it short, some of you have probably been getting weird vibes from the community. Even I probably have been acting a bit awkward and dropping random clues because of all the excitement. Something is "indeed" up. I'm not in Hawaii, but currently on a flight enroute to San Francisco, CA to get an up close, all day look at The Sims 2 University Expansion Pack. The event is very much like Sims 2 University Webmaster Conference back in November 2003, but there have been a few twists added this time. First, the SIMposium brings a slightly different focus. We will be particpating in special hands-on sessions for Modders and Fansite creators. Second, there will be a set of "mystery" guests attending. It won't be just us webmasters, but everyday people. (Hint: Some of them you know VERY well...identites to be revealed later.) I myself will be attending as usual. I am meeting up with my fellow partner at SimStuff.com, Josh van Hulst, my friend and affiliate, ChEeTaH from TheSimsZone.co.uk, the famed Sims codehacker Judhudson from SimPrograms.com, Jan and Robert from the legendary German fansite SimsZone.de, Resie from SimParool.nl, and last but not least, the talented Heather Castillo from SimFreaks.com We will be meeting up with some of your favorite Maxis Folks, and yes, even the legendary Will Wright for you Will Wright fans. Like last time, I will be doing my best to get the information out to you as quickly as I can. Stay tune for more updates....

If you talk to Will ask him what's up with The Sims Online. Why does it seem that they don't care what we want in the game and only what they want. You can give him my email you want
and EA suck at ewerything, so dont pay for games from them... not to mention what they did to dungeon keeper or bullfrog.....
Okay, Josh, it's time to fess up. You got a look at "Nightlife" when you played Sims2U, didn't you? You need to share it with your faithful friends.
Evidently Maxis was deliberately trying to keep the information about the Fall EP from getting out earlier than TS2U's release. The SimPosium people were given a false name, so that they too would be surprised. I sincerely doubt that they were allowed to see anything that would lead them to think of Nightlife. If they were shown anything from Nightlife, it would have been more generic things that would not give away the theme. And they didn't warn us SimMasters either!
AFAIK, at the time of SIMposium, they were barely beginning the ground work for it. They wouldn't tell us the status of it, but they said it was "in progress". I know a few other details, but at the moment won't divulge
