Sims 2 University Cheats Hi! Found some sims 2 cheats on the Sims 2 University message boards for College Town. Here they are: BUILD YOUR OWN DORM: Go to College Town and open an empty lot of any size. Build the dorm, and remember to put "Myne" doors on every bedroom. (Make sure they are facing out) Also, ahve 4-6 countertops and the ShinyTyme cooktop. Build some other rooms (Library, Computer Lab, Bathrooms) Use the open shower in the bathrooms. You can seperate girls and boys, then open the cheat window (Ctrl_shift_c) then type in exactly: changelot_zoning dorm, Then Save! Your own dorm has been built! ADD A STORE TO DORM: Make the dorm as shown above, then open the cheat box and enter changelot_zoning community. Set up the store, exit to neighborhood, go back in and put changelot_zoning dorm in the cheatbox. there you go! a dorm with a store! OTHER ZONINGS YOU CAN CHANGE LOT INTO: residential community greek dorm secretsociety, just put them in the area that says enter here! Cheat: changelot_zoning [enter here] MODIFY EXISTING MAXIS DORMS: Enter dormSpecificToolsDisabled True or False in the cheat box.
These are excellent tips. However, you left out somethings which are important: do not have any Sims in the building when you use the "change" function. Doing so can maKe it so that it doesn't function correctly. And if you make a secret society, make sure that you have it where you want it before you do the change. Once placed, a secret society building can't be moved (as it becomes invisible and can't be picked up even by trial and error.) You can make changes to it once in place, but only when your playable Sim is on the lot. Also, if you put a bathroom between two dorm rooms, the lock feature does not work properly. Same thing with a dorm room which has more than one dorm door leading into them. The Prima Guide also lists a few other necessary things in the dorms: The countertops for the dorms which are in the same room as the cooktop need to be the island types. Garbage can Dishwasher or sink in the same room as the cooktop lights at least one phone sprinkler
