Ressurect-O-Nomitron Doesn't Work My Sim (Dustin Broke) just bought himself a nice piece of equpiment. The Ressurect-O-Nomitron so he can contact Mr. Death himself. The other day his old frat buddy, Eric was over and he decided to burn himself to death in Dustin's mom's kitchen. Dustin was sleeping and wasn't able to make it to Death in time to plea. He then proceeded to use his phone to contact Mr. Grim and see if they could strike a deal on Eric's soul. Keep in mind they are best friends (Eric and Dustin). When he called Grim said that he doesn't know why he's calling because he doesn't know any dead sims. But his frat brother for life (or death) just died. What do I do? I'm tired of him walking around moping over Eric's death but I can't ressurect him. Suggestions?
No, his urn is right next to the phone. It's one of Dustin's wants to ressurect him and his fear is that he'll come back as a zombie. So I don't know what to do. I tried going into the neighborhood and coming back in again but that didn't do anything. All he says is taht he doesn't know any Sims that have died.
Hmm, that's odd. Does he have the memory of him dying? Even if he does or doesn't, I still wouldn't know how to fix it! But, I guess I was just asking out of curiousity? Some of my Sim's memories disappeared or were all jumbled up one day, and the next day they were back in order and all there... Maybe it's the same thing and will "fix itself"?
I don't know what to do because he has the memory of him dying, he won't stop crying about it. When he finishes anything he just comes home and cries for almost a sim hour. Then he goes and mourns and cries again. I am so lost about this though. Maybe he has to get promoted again or something although I don't know why.
When Afro uses the phone to call the Reaper, it gives the message "Why are you calling, you don't know anyone that has died". That is the whole problem. =)
Just a thought but maybe the resurrecting only works on "family" members. Afro tells us that Eric was visiting at Dustin's house ... just a thought ...
Hmm, that's a thought. Has anyone else resurrected anyone that didn't live in the household before? I haven't ever used the object myself, so I have no clue. I would think it'd be kind of a waste if you couldn't use it to resurrect your neighbor. Then once they're alive again, you could have them move out and back into their old house... But maybe it only works with family/household members?
Hmm never thought about that. But that doesn't seem like it would make sense. It seems like it would be in the object desecription before I bought it or something. I don't know, but I don't think Dustin can take another one of family members or friends dying, he's close to an aspiration breakdown.
Hello to all! I have the simmilar problem too. My sim's wife just died... and now I don't know how to bring her alive. I have to call somebody by the phone or is it some other way???:surprised:
I fixed the problem, the dead sim has to have some sort of a relationship with someone in the house and they must be housemates. If you are a friend of that sim but you don't live together it won't work. Makes sense right?
