    Vonage VoIP Users - Activate your 911...Shockwaves Hit Industry After Failed 911 Call

    Apparently this is just stupid..just plain stupid on Vonage's part..time for Vonage to update their commercials and include themselves into it....:rolleyes:

    Okay serious...Vonage should have been more creative at getting their customers to "activate" their 911 service..

    Register to use 911 before you can use it as it's not part of their basic package. That's like buying a car with no brakes.

    I'm also sure that if you're being held hostage your captures would allow you to go online so you could register your address to use 911 so you can secretly call for help later on. Genius!

    Wow, you guys have got it strange over there, here in Australia, even if your phone has been disconnected you can still call 000 (our emergency service number).

    It's funny how they can triangulate your location on a cell phone, but can not do anything with GeoIP.
