Final Exam Bug in University? After installing the University Expansion Pack,all i noticed are increasing problems. Actually i reinstalled both sims 2 and expansion. Before installing them i ran scandisk,defragment my hard drive,then i installed sims 2 and the patch,played it once and then i installed university. Not to mention that i also cleaned the registry to whatever was related either to sims 2 or the expansion pack. As i have mentioned in my other posts and i had the time to confirm it in the meantime,my custom neighborhood got corrupted after i installed university. 1 small example: all elderly sims cant use the phone from 8 am to 10 pm. From 10 pm to 8 am it works fine but the time is limmited to invite people over. This is only 1 of many bugs i encountered in my custom neighborhood. Trying the play the university itself i noticed that when the final exam begins,the student are dropping out after 2 hours while the bar still says final exam in progress. The result is a loss in the grades. If i send them over and over again to the final exam,they stay there for 1 hour only until they come back. So even if the class perfomance meter is filled up to the top i cant get any better than c+. When i tried the college in pleasantview,in the beginning it seemed to work fine,the student finished the final exam and i got an A+. However it was at that time that i decided to reinstall the game as i mentioned above,thinking that maybe all the errors would disappear from my custom neighborhood. However,not only the errors didnt disappear but also the students in pleasantview cant finish the final exam anymore. They are jumping out after 2 hours and after a while i get the message that my sim(s) just missed the final exam and that i shouldnt make a habit of it . Im not sure if this has something to do with reinstalling the game or if it was only a matter of time before this bug would also appear in the pleasantview college. The neighborhood itself is working fine without any problems. Even the imported corrupted elderly sims from my custom neighborhood are working fine in pleasantview. The sims 2 is 1 of the best game i ever played but.......unfortunately also 1 with the most severe bugs around. Just reading the posts in this forum and i know that im not in the minority having problems.
same issues with university I seem to be having the same problems with the exams and it is driving me crazy. I love the sims as well and can't wait for the next expansion but goodness sakes, the exams are ridiculous. I was wondering if you have found out anything from anywhere or anyone what to do about this. I thought it was just me. LOL
