Yo, that's surely a weird problem!! perhaps I can give you hand, but tell me first, what does the sim die of? (for example: hungry, comfort, etc) or maybe it only comes back and dies? Sorry for my poor english too, I'm not native eiter LeonHart
i have no ideia! they just lie on the floor and DIE! and it happens every time that the "one hour left to class" note appears
i know that they are now dieing from hunger or old age it's strange they left some time and just lie down and die =P
Look inside the folder C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads if there is anything inside it then drag the whole folder to your desktop. Then try playing the game ... report back if the game works
This is a common problem because of some hacks that were made before University was released. That is why Mirelly's suggesting worked: You removed the hacks when you removed the downloads folder. I would suggest you download the sim2pack clean installer at www.modthesims2.com . This program will check your downloads folder and find the hacks for you, so you can delete them and then restore your folder.
