possessed school bus? Here the deal: one random day, the schoolbus came at its usual time, but did not pull up to the middle of the lot like it usually does. Instead, it stayed on the end of the lot and did not move. The kids can't get onto the bus because as soon as you choose the option to "Go to School", the icon vanishes. The same thing has happened with all of the carpool vehicles. I need help... and soon! This error has caused job loss and failing grades. Strangely enough, this error only applies to one family. I've tried deleting the bus, but it just comes back the next morning showing no sign of improvement. What can I do?
Unfortunately your best bet is to move your family out and destroy that lot then move the family into a new house on a different lot. (Use the kaching or motherlode money cheats to replace the money they lose in the process of moving. There's not much you can do about the loss of any rewards they might have ... unless you download some buyable ones ...).
before I would buldoze the lot try this: open the cheat console and type boolprop testingCheatsEnabled true now Shift-click on everyone who wouldn't go to school/work, go to MORE and then to CREATE ERROR in the ERROR window you click DELETE after you did that to all affected sims, leave to the neighbourhood or exit the game important is only that you SAVE your game make sure you switched off that cheatbefore you exit/save (just to be on the safe side since it's been reported to crash some computers when in effect during save/exit procedures) Next time you enter your lot all deleted sims are lined up at the mailbox and "go to school" or "go to work" should work again No idea what causes this behaviour though but I have to do that at least once every week Some say it's caused by the Insiminator (but I don't have that object so I don't think so) Others claim it is because all skills are maxed out..I dunno..but I certainly don't go and lower them again an extra save once a week doesn't bother me too much -le
