Downloads Hi ppl, need abit of help here! kind of confuse on where to d/l my items to in The Sims2. Like where do objects go? skins? roofs? wallpaper n flooring etc.. all to the same folder or to diff 1? cause i just installed the sims2 so not very sure! appreciate any help! thank u!
Listen to me Listen up.. did you try to search the threads for the answer. I was once told by Mirelly to serch the threads first. I found that there were a lot of threads on custom content. I am still having trouble with it though. It might have to do with your topic though so research. It seems this sites people get mad if your not a Sims Genius. Just some advice Strawberry

yupz... i did research n throw all my stuff into downloads. but i notice some of the clothes that i d/l did not come out. so wondering if i did the right think.
If you threw it all into downloads, it wouldn't work. Some need to be removed from their zip file first, others need to be double clicked so that they self install. Edit: Clothes, makeup, etc cannot be in any sort of subfolder or they won't work. Only objects and walls/floors can be put into a subfolder to organize them in the downloads file.
ohh..i did unzip them b4 throwing them iinto the downloads folder but some clothes still did not work. so wonder is it i did the wrong think or is there sumtink wrong with the file. don't quite udnerstand this part though. what u mean by subfolder? n what u mean by organise them in the downloads file?
sometimes if you unzip them, they come in the form of .sims2skin or .sims2files files. You'll still need to run those.
oki! so files that r in the form of sims2skin, i double click on them n they will install automaticlly right? do i have to do anythink else?
