sims 2 questions does anyone know if the sims 2 will come out on the xbox or the playstaion in the future? Also i have been playing the sims 2 on the pc and have problems trying to get my sim to change the channel on the tv. Everytime i try my sim just turns the tv off or cancells my action. What's wrong
Maybe your sim doesn't like to watch TV? Some of mine don't like watching TV. If your sim is really active, they may get bored with sitting around for very long, or if your sim is full up on their fun, they may get tired of watching tv, or if your sim is serious or a knowledge sim, they may want to do something less frivolous than watch TV.

The Sims is already on console: Sims Bustin' Out and Urbz. It's very unlikely they will ever have one called "The Sims 2" since they are taking bits and pieces of the game to do the console games. TS2 is too big to make a single game out of it. As to the TV problem, the Sims will only watch the channels they like. If they don't like what's on, they either change the channel to one they like or they turn it off and go do something else. The only way to prevent that is to take away their free will, but that means that you have to control all their actions or they stand there and do nothing (other than have bladder accidents.)
