It's Too Quiet Around Here! So Let's Swap Sims Stories!! This past week has been too quiet around here!!! Where's everyone? Flamey, don't you need help with your game? Zooty Zoot, don't you have some deep subject for us to discuss? Josh, got any announcements? Mirelly, got any good jokes? JMP, got any mad ramblings? Geesh!!! Okay, here's what I'm good for around here, bragging on my Sims. They are so like my pets, it's not funny. And no one else "gets it" the way you do. If I say, "Guess what my Sims did today!" people start looking at me funny and wanting to call the guys in the white coats with the net. LOL One of my families is the Hicks Family. We have Mom, Charlene, and her 4 children Jackson named for "Action Jackson", Bambi, named after "Bambi", duh, and twins Luke and Leia named after the Skywalker twins.. Mom watches too many movies. So the family lives in a three bedroom trailer on the poor side of town. One day Charlene brings home resident playboy Napoleon. She and Napoleon start a relationship, based on their mutual outgoingness and love for swinging and pillow fights. Soon, Napoleon does as he does every woman in town, and gets Charlene pregnant. But because the Sim Goddess (that's me) accidently clicked "move in" instead of "stay the night", Napoleon gave up his fine home on the lake and moved into the trailer to be with her and their new baby, Scarlett! Well, that would never do, so the whole family moved into Napoleon's fancy digs. Teenager Jackson, who was always moody and unsatisfied, started doing better in school once he had his own room, a video game, and a hot tub to hang out with the ladies who are always around Napoleon. He's able to get his homework done, and soon qualifies for several grants. So, the day comes when he must leave the nest and venture off to college. It's the 1st time that I had gotten to send a child from my neighborhood to college since I got my new video card. I must say that the video of Charlene hugging Jackson goodbye and sending him off to school was very sweet and touching. Jackson started school and quickly met several "honeys" since picking up some of Napoleon's charm and one of JMP's great socializing hack. He is now very much in love with cheerleader Nikki. But he also loves the punk girl with the spikey hair, who's name I can't recall right now. So, which one will it be? Stay tuned for the next episode of "Days of Sims Lives"
OK, here goes with my neighborhoos update: Yimaz - The Yimaz family has rapidly become the richest family in the neighborhood since the fragmentation of the Wyndham family. Sylvie Yimaz retained her corporate job just long enough to use her influence with friend, neighbor and SimCorp President Rodrigo Zurbaran to get her adopted son, Spencer, an excellent starting position with the company. Then she retired, and got fat. Not liking being fat, she started a second career with the military, and is happily working her way to senior peak fitness. Izad Yimaz still hasn't peaked in the science career, and he would like to retire, but he just netted a 50,000 simolean grant that will keep him in the research game for some time to come (unless he dies that is). In his spare time, Izad enjoys a very close relationship with his granddaughters, Cornelia and Ippolita. He especially enjoys playing chess and videogame with Cornelia. Spencer married Marlies Sigvaldsen and the two of them live with Sylvie and Izad in a large three story house. Spencer is rapidly climbing the corporate ladder at SimCorp having already attained the rank of CEO. The couple are very happily with two daughters, Cornelia and Ippolita. Marlies works with the Sim City police in her spare time even though she doesn't need to have a career. I can foresee some interesting tussles over which of the neighborhood's youngsters will successfully court and marry the two Yimaz hieresses when the time comes as the family is now worth well over 150S with no discernible signs of diminishing value. The other two Yimaz children are also grown and away. Fataneh Yimaz married Jack Mwakesi, and Clive Yimaz is a sophmore at La Fiesta Tech. Zurbaran - Rodrigo and Vera Zurbaran have successfully raised three children, two natural and one adopted. Rodrigo still works for SimCorp as a CEO while Vera is a practicing medical Specialist. Neither have any desire to retire so long as they are breathing. Their oldest son, Alberto, married Kellsey deCastries and they have their first daughter, Dona Rosa, and another on they way. They have also adopted a son named Armando. Alberto is an asiring scientist although he has a noticable lack of enthusiasm for work most days. Kellsey is working her way up through the medical career and learning from the best, Dr. Zurbaran, as she goes. Unfortunately, pregnancy and motherhood have slowed her down somewhat. Adopted son Phoenix lives on an empty lot equipped with a phone and a computer and a job so that I can have other sims I play call him. He's the neighborhood flirt and neighborhood bored houswife toy; I'm waiting to have him rekindle a teen flirtation with Lilia de Vaux to spawn an illegitimate child before I decide whether to keep him around or have him move out. Daughter Graciela is a junior at La Fiesta Tech. Currently she lives off campus with her fiance William Williamson and their roomie Blossom. She is studying drama and turning out to be fairly attractive. And we won't mention (well maybe we will :cheeky: ) baby Petro who was repossessed by the social worker after one horrible day in which the program glitched and Vera got stuck standing in front of the training potty with poor Petro sitting on it. de Vaux - Damien and Dolores are both retired now although Damien has a successful second career in law enforcement. Emmanuelle is married to Flannen Wyndham and second daughter Lilia is off at the university writing home about some guy named Almeric and her art classes. I generally fast forward through my days with these two who seem quite content to pillow fight a lot and sleep on the futon. Wyndham - Oh how the mighty have fallen! What was once the most successful and wealthiest family in La Jolla Vista is now a fragmented remnant! After the death of proud patriarch, Shandon (my husband's sim head oops!), the family lost its sense of pride and direction. As soon as Flannen Wyndham, the oldest son grew up, within months of his father's death, he moved out and established his own household. Shortly afterward, he invited his girlfriend, Emmanuelle to move in with him, and they married. As soon as Corvinia saw the remaining three Wyndham children off to college, she also moved in with Flannen and Emmanuelle to help them look after their new baby boy, named Shandon Jr. Flannen, Emmanuelle, Corvinia, Shandon, and their newest baby, Vera (yes, out of over a thousand possible random girl's names, I rolled up another Vera) all live in one of the smaller houses in the neighborhood. Flannen is a cop, Emmanuelle is in politics, and Corvinia works as a short-order cook in order for them to make ends meet. The other Wyndham children, Raenon, Tiberius, and Taveon are all at college. Raenon is engaged to Jacques deCastries and Tiberius and Taveon are still trying to navigate the complications of meeting women. Sigvaldsen - Marlies is out of the house and married to Spencer Yimaz. Isleen is off at college steadily turning three of her male dormies into her man-slaves although I think she may be settling on Arnaud Dobai as a final possibility. Gerda and Jesper remain at home. Gerda is still a working thief, and Jesper is thoroughly retired and thoroughly bored and very obsessed with the easal when I fast forward through their days. Neuner - Dr. Neuner continues his research project on Subject A (also known as Myles). Myles sense his father's deep emotional detatchment and has subsequently developed an obsession with aliens and alien abduction. Apparently, he has arrived at the conclusion that an alien environment must be mroe normal than his own. Meanwhile, Xenokleia continues to be extremely prolific punching out two more children, Kaneo and Tobin. She's so busy with them that she doesn't really pay very much attentiont he fact that her second child likes to stargaze through the telescope with no clothes on. Poor Myles will soon be old enough to go off to college though justr like his older brother. Archer Neuner is currently a sophomor at La Fiesta Tech where he lives in the dorm with his fiance Ulicia Mwakesi and friends Tiberius Wyndham and Pamela Kikuchi. Corbulo - The Corbulos are new to town and haven't made much of an impact yet. Sonia and Pavel have two sons, Dax and Ulric. Pavel is an athlete and I cuurently forget what Sonia is (been a while since I've played them) although she gets along very well with neighbor Dr. Neuner. deCastries - Somehow, despite the illegitimate daughter and on-going love affair with the neighbor, Shoko and Gustave are still married fairly happily. Maybe he's in denial? Their oldest daughter is married to Alberto Zurbaran whie their son Jacques is away at school and engaged to Raenon Wyndham. Shoko's daughter, Shuying, is also away at school. These are another pair of old love-birds I fast forward. They, too, seem to really like pillow fighting. Mwakesi - Vincent and Caroline are also still together despite the fact that Vincent is essentially the neighborhood Wilt Chamberlain and having affairs with three other women including the maid. They have two children who are very sensitive to cheating of any sort. Jack Mwakesi once caught Vncent in bed with Kaylynn the maid and still hates her to this day. In fact, as soon as Vincent kicks the bucket, he plans to fire Kaylynn and hire another maid because he won't have that shameless hussy aorund his son! Oh, and Vincent is also having and affair with Christy Stratton. Jack Mwakesi married Fataneh Yimaz and they have one child, a son named Titus. They've also adopted one, but the social worker hasn't brought it over yet. Ulicia Mwakesi used to be happily dating Clive Yimaz until the day that they both went over to Isleen Sigvaldsen's house and Isleen flirted outrageously with Clive, kissing him, right in front of poor Ulicia. Heartbroken, Ulicia turned to her friend and confidant, Archer, for comfort. Currently, the two are engaged and attending La Fiesta Tech where Ulicia is studying psychology in an attempt to understand people.
I'm pretty sure that in light of what you consider brag-worthy, if I told you how to really do things, your weak and feeble hopes and dreams would be utterly crushed. I'm kinda busy right now making a shiny thingy, so go ahead and consider them crushed, anyway. I laugh at you! Ha!
Pescado, crabby? Sounds fishy to me ... LMAO I am still creating my new hood. My original concept remains (like so many of us I succombed to vanity and it's most important personge is a sim-me ) Anyway I am going for a broader base of sims this time around and nicer looking neighborhood with a more organically urban look to it. My sims are rather utopian in their political and social aspirations and they don't regard huge houses as the be all and end all of civilization, neither do they care especially for moving house. They much prefer to call the builders in while they are at work and have the house remodelled, so top executives who fly to work in the company copter are as like to live next door to the young kids starting out in a shingled shack and going to work at the 24/7 in a car pool vehicle that's only one pothole bounce away from its junkyard retirement. So far I have shirked my duties as a locum-deity because I haven't really explored the romance and wealth aspirations too much. Enter Tony Selby. He's a romance sim, an aries, personality: neat______6 outgoing__8 active____8 playful___2 nice______1 No money cheats, so he has a tiny house next to the haunted house. His main luxury was the 8-energy 4 poster ... gives more time for wooing cos we all know that there can't be hoo without first a lot of woo ... His first conquest was townie, Jan Tellerman. Once he'd got her scalp on his belt it was easy for him to call her up regularly to keep things going (and to get a boost in aspiration). He's not awful bothered about work and promotion, so neither am I. He's had jobs in the military and the science track and is currently at the DJ rank in the slacker career (he's got 12 days adulthood left). His second conquest was Dagmar Paper. It was a bit tricky for him getting Dagmar away from her husband Jackie (yeah anyone else remember little Jackie Paper? ) but he wooed her hoo and sent her packing in a little cloud of pink hearts ... aww. Third came, Melissa Fancey. She was a problemo. Actually it wasn't her fault. He invited her over for breakfast and set fire to the kitchen, after he'd had a bath it became obvious that MF had auroral problems (of the green and stinky sort) of her own. Being the gallant lad that he is, Tony invited her to stay the night, thinking that she would think, ooh that'll save me a long walk home to have a bath!. The silly moo thought no such thing. She walked home, stinking to high-heaven and worrying about it quite visibly. Undeterred. Tony whipped up a taste-bud sensation of a chili and invited Mel over again. She arrived as fresh as a daisy and it wasn't long before there were fireworks under a certain lothario's comforter ... better late than never is Mister Selby's motto! :cheeky: Number's 4 and 5 came on the same day. This was partly accident and partly blind luck. Tone had been running out the house every Tuesday and Thursday to say hello to a certain young mail carrier ... another Dagmar, this one is Ms Bertino. She is very outgoing but pretty hard to get to know, meanwhile, Tony was also working on Christy Stratton. I'm sure that Mz Christy puts starch in her underwear ... if you catch my meaning. Tony's relationship meter with the Stratton woman was up and down like a roller coaster. Talk about an on off relationship! He eventually got her reluctant cooperation in the woohoo stakes and as soon as he'd had his way he leapt out of bed to cry about the three rejections he'd had first. This was where lady luck came calling. It was mail time ... He had 7 grand in the bank and an aspiration want to buy a love tub. Well the money wouldn't be needed. He could use a couple of hundred to expand his deck and then slap in the love tub ... he's got oodles of aspiration points! Mz Bertino was like putty in his hands ... or do I mean like a big pink loofah? Woohoo with person number 5. Woohoo! The next victims on his big list are Marisa Bendett and then Druse Fisher, Sarah Willis and Sarah Willis who is the first Sarah's daughter; Sarah Jnr will soon be off to uni and she'll doubtlessly be inviting Tony over for a party and to meet all her groovy college girlfriends ... somehow, I can't see Mister Selby taking too long to get to that Woohoo with 20 different sims target ...
LMAO!!! I like him Mirelly!!! He looks like a Cassanova!!! We'll put him and my man Napoleon together and see if we how many women we can Woo Hoo!!!
All my nannies Hi! I'm new to the site. I have been having nothing but problems with my nannies since I got Sims University. Many of my families have had to move out of their homes to escape having their children killed by evil nannies. So I started creating my own nannies, with some interesting results ... My first nanny was Opal Friendworthy. She was a nice elderly family sim with no family. She moved in with my lesbian couple and their family, who had been cursed in so many ways, including a nanny glitch making them lose their children. Their oldest son had to move back in and adopt them! So clearly they needed an uncursed nanny. Opal was great: she potty trained little Kali, helped Jackson with his homework, and was good friends with Isabella (yes I name the kids alphabetically, helps me keep track of the little buggers ...) Then she died. I haven't played that family since so I don't know if she's a ghost. She seemed OK with going and got some hula girls singing her aloha so I assume she was ready ... and Kali is a teenager so they don't need a nanny anymore. OK, so I clearly needed a younger nanny next time around. Enter Carlotta Angelini. She's black and sassy and always wears a hat. She's also rather curvy, which my husband says looks better than those skinny "healthy" sims. She has a nice booty LOL. Anyway, Carlotta took care of Salome and Corwin's twins, Riley and Skylar, who are now teenagers, and then married Jack Sawyer, who moved in with them. So now I have two families in the same (big) house, which works out great. Three incomes and a permanent babysitter. Carlotta just had twins. I think it's something in the water. If I want someone to have twins I'm having them move in LOL. She wants a job, poor girl. I promised her she could have one once her kids are older. Next came Samantha Stevens. She went to live with the Jameson family after they were forced to evacuate their house due to a nanny that would not leave. I hated their house anyway, so now they live in a very nice family home with their three kids who are still at home: Felice, Parker and Tristan. Samantha is cute and sexy and ended up marrying their oldest son Declan, who moved back in. Plus because she's young she can fulfill her own goals while tending the other family's brats. She wants to be Captain Hero while the mom, Laura, just wants to marry all her kids off, so they traded! Samantha goes to work and Laura is supposed to stay home, but she hasn't had to quit her job (also in Law Enforcement) yet because their schedules allow someone to be home at all times. I just keep an eye on it. Don't want them losing little Tristan to Social Services ... Strega Pez lives with the Blaques. She's a Knowledge Sim who is cruelly forced to be a nanny. She wants to be Chief of Staff (yawn) but too bad. She'll have to wait for little Ella and Hadley to be older. And Veronica Smith just moved in with single mom Miami Rosenstein and her son Arizona. Veronica wants six kids and Miami just wants to be rich (OK, a business tycoon, same diff). Stay tuned ...
The Spencer Story http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/story_detail.php?asset_id=23136 Yes, the Kristal sim is supposed to look like me a little.
I really think this thread is a good idea. I like the legacy challenge thread, too, but I'm too addicted to cheating to qualify for posting a sim story there. Anyways, I'm going to tell the chilling, moving and exciting stories of the families from Bonjur Bonjur Valley (don't ask.) Considering a lot has happened in this little town, I will briefly summarize the events that have previously occured. I basically modeled my neighbourhood after Pleasantview and Wysteria Lane from Desperate Housewives. The town's complete with dysfunctional families, both male and female sims that are less than faithful, single mothers, alien abductions, and crazy parties. First off, there are the Smith's (an orginal last name, i know.) They are a pretty boring family, with Kevin, a lobbiyst who lives in the shadow of his successful wife, Marisa, who is a Buisness Tycoon. Will this cause rifts in their marriage? Also, Kevin is black and Marisa is white. Do their neighbours approve of their interracial relationship? They have two children, Tyler, an overachiever, and Penelope, a baby. Than there is John Lewis, the Colin Farrel of the sim world. You need two hands to count the number of people he has woo hoo'ed with, and has no plans of stopping. He has been spotted with his maid, and single and married people alike. John is also bisexual (I guess his dating pool of women he hasn't made out with has dramatically diminished). He is a father, too. He had an illegimate child with his ex-fiancee, Carmen Woofer. Carmen caught him cheating with the maid one day. John is a gas station attendant. As you probaly have already guessed, John is a romantic sim. I will update you later on his infedelity. Well, I have to toddle off now, but I promise to update you on the plethora of families that inhabit Bonjur Bonjur Valley. Coming up next- dysfuctional families, horny teenagers, alien babies and the like. Enjoy!
OK, I just have to post this because no one in the real world could possibly care ... one of my favorite Sims families just topped $250,000 in net worth. I can finally move someone into one of the mansions I made "just for fun." OK. I'm done. Just had to share.
OK, I'm back. Next there's the Corpattia family. Joshua Corpattia was a recruit who had just moved into town. On his day off, as he went to get his mail, he saw the mailwoman. She was stunning (she didn't have the typical huge puffy cheeks or the lip-surgery-gone-wrong-lips.) Her name was Dagmar something(I don't remember her previous last name.) Anyway, the two instantly fell in love , and spent many romantic nights together. Eventually, after three entire days, Dagmar and Joshua got married. Even better, Dagmar had a cornucopia of skills, and Joshua was getting a lot of promotions at work. They had a child, Quentin (lmao I love that name, he probaly got bullied in school b/c of it.) While Joshua may have been successful at his job, things weren't looking so good at home. Dagmar, being the romantic sim she is, loved the life of glitz and glamour, which wasn't possible with a toddler and a husband. But Joshua was a family sim, and did not such a lifestyle. The pair began to argue at each other constantly. The light that kept their marriage together had suddenly fizzled as quickly as it had sparked. They got divorced, and Joshua moved out. Dagmar was finally freed from the chains of marriage. Soon she started dating John Lewis, Joshua's best friend. Coincidentally, Joshua and John are no longer best friends. Dagmar entered the culinary career, and is now a celebrity chef with her own show on the Yummy Channel. Quentin ended up being quite a brilliant child, even though he suffered a traumatic childhood. Now a teenager, he is an overachiever and dating Rachel Grass. Joshua suffered a breakdown across town, and Jan Tellerman was there to help him. Soon he fell in love again. Jan and Joshua got married, and now live in a cozy mansion. Both are very high up on the career ladder, and have two children, Christina and Patrick. But Jan is a romantic sim, just like Dagmar, and Kennedy Cox is showing interest in her. Is Joshua doomed for divorce again?
Newsflash: It's been a mixed bag day for the Yimaz family in La Jolla Vista. Spencer has managed to claw his way up the corporate ladder and is now a business tycoon. He becomes the first in the hood to successfully max out his career ladder. However, poor Izad, the family patriarch, has finally passed away due to natural causes. He was sorely missed by his youngest granddaughter Ippolita who is a very sensitive child. After all, he taught her how to walk and how to talk, and literally as she trembled ont eh cusp of girlhood, the reaper rudely came and snatched her beloved grandfather from the family bosom! Now she throws tantrums, splashes in puddles, and cries all day. There's no telling how this will ultimately affect her tender psyche. Too bad no one has graduated from Uni with their psych degree yet.
Nirvanaville I might as well put my two cents in. Hmm...where to start...my humble neighborhood of Nirvanaville started with two families: ---Becky and Adam (essentially a self portrait and a Sim version of my boyfriend ). Adam is in the Science career, currently a Project Leader, and I'm...unemployed. The happy couple have two children: Lora Yuna, an Adult; David Merrick, a freshman in Sim State University, majoring in Biology, and wants to max out on the Medical career someday. Adam, Becky, and Lora Yuna are Family; David Merrick is a Knowledge Sim. ---Teal and Kari (Sim portraits of my online friend and his girlfriend). Teal is almost to the top of the Military career, and Kari is unemployed and has people coming over to visit all the time (mainly married men :\). They have two children: Garrett, who is an adult and is married to Lora Yuna; and Dizzy, a freshman as well, dating David Merrick, and majoring in Psychology. She aspires to max out the Law Enforcement career. Teal, Kari, and Garrett are Family; Dizzy is a Popularity Sim. Then the neighborhood grew when I made a new family, the Lockharts. They are three sisters, and they are very different from each other. Tifa is a Money Sim, very athletic, and is currently a head coach of the local sports team. Let's just say the house the sisters lived in became very expensive. Rikku is a Popularity Sim, has plenty of friends, known by all, and owns a restaurant. She brought a lot of men home...dated one, dumped him, and eventually married Remington the maid. Paine...black sheep of the family. Whereas Tifa had Asian origins and Rikku was a curly haired blonde with green eyes, Paine...had red eyes. She is a Knowledge Sim, not very social, got fired from her ambulance driving job and switched to Science and is now a Mad Scientist. She has the highest paying job in the neighborhood. She dated this guy named Goopy, who was in the Medical career with her, and they eventually married. They moved out and bought a little house down the street. Tifa married the rich guy down the street, Al (my brother made himself and gave himself a lot of money :\), and left Rikku and Remington with the remodled rancher house. Tifa and Al live happily in their big mansion, and Al lets Tifa be the bread winner (he's in Medicine but doesn't make as much). They have two children: Kairi, a teen, and Sora, a child. Kairi looks like her daddy and Sora looks like his mom. I guess they're doing well in school... Rikku and Remington have a son, Tidus, who looks like his mother. Not a very masculine boy either; he's currently a freshman in college, majoring in History, and is dating Ivy Copur. Remington is unemployed and keeps the house clean lol and Rikku just turned into an old person...I don't think Remington's too happy about being married to someone older than him. :\ Paine and Goopy...gosh...messed up family. Goopy is a Romance Sim, but fortunately Paine kept him in line. They planned on having only one child, but had twins, a boy and a girl. Wakka and Lulu have their mother's eyes, but Wakka looks like Paine and Lulu looks like Goopy. Um...not very pretty. :\ Wakka is dating a girl I made especially for him, named Yuffie. He's a Family sim but is pretty lax. I think I'll change his aspiration when he gets to that point in college. He and his cousin Tidus are renting a house together on campus. Lulu is sharing a dorm with David Merrick and Dizzy; she is a Knowledge Sim like her mother, and wants to max out all of her skills. She and Dizzy are getting along, they go to class together. Meanwhile, I imported my Curious family into my neighborhood. Pascal had an alien son, Starboy. Starboy is a Knowledge Sim, dating Lulu, and is also in the same dorm. Pascal is also a friendly old man. Vidcund had an alien son as well, named Boba Fett. Boba Fett is currently having problems with his face disappearing. He also is a Knowledge Sim and almost has two skills maxed out, A+ in school, and the top of the Criminal career...and he's halfway through his teen years. He has his eyes on Kairi at the moment. Then Vidcund married the sister of Lazlo's wife... and Vidcund and Aerith had a baby named Enoch. Lazlo and his wife Yuna have a son, Pepe, and they have moved back into Vidcund and Pascal's house since Starboy is in college and Boba Fett is preparing to make the giant leap to young adulthood. I'll update you all with more on my Sims. Just needed to put in some background info.
Been Simming: Here's the story of the Spock Family Remember my Tiberious Spock charecter and his marriage to College Sweetheart Tina? Well, before he married Tina, and while he was finishing up his Senior year, he fell for the cheerleader, Nikki. He fell for her HARD. So, after what should have been years of being married to Tina and having two kids, Ti could not get Nikki out of his head. So, I let him continue the relationship outside of the home. He kept meeting Nikki at community lots or in her dorm room and woo hooing. He still woke up every morning with Nikki Wants: "Kiss NikkI", "Give Nikki a Backrub" "Entertain Nikki", "Play with Nikki". He just was not happy with Tina. So, I allowed him to get out of the marriage. Tina's teenaged son, Orion, threw a sports party, and invited another of Ti's female friends, Jan Tellerman. So Ti starts hugging and flirting with Jan. Finally, poor Tina can't take it anymore, they have a huge fight, and she throws Ti out. Ti moves into one of the townhouses on the river and promptly marries Nikki. So far, so good. Nikki is pregnant, and Tina just gave birth to her 5th baby, Tyler. Son Orion has went away to college, and so I'm sure there will be plenty of stories there!!
