Haunted House I made a haunted house by successively killing four people in the house in a row. They all died natural deaths of old age but were wretched and miserable, so they became ghosts - two of the ghosts have the flu! Then I moved in the Innocent family. The ghosts weren't much trouble (rattling chairs, turning on the t.v.) and the Innocents didn't seem to mind at all. But Sweet, the mother, died in a kitchen fire, Young, the child, was taken away by the Social Worker for not eating, and now Noble, the father, just sits around watching television and won't go to work. Are they really haunted? They never even got scared.
Sounds like a really fun story you are playing out there, but this is posted in the wrong forum. If you want more people to read about your Sims, you should probably post this in the "General Discussion" area!
If the Mom, Dad, and Baby Sims are constantly spooked by the ghosts, then congrats---you have a haunted house. From your description, though, I think you still have a little more work to do. Maybe that 5th ghost might be helpful.
HOW do i Gee, Mr. Roberts! Well, let me put it this way - HOW do I make a more haunted house? Has anyone else tried this? I was surprised that my ghosts came out white and benign, even though I made their lives as absolutely miserable as possible. Maybe more ghosts is the answer. But what I want is a house that really SCARES people who live or visit there. Suggestions and HOW I can do this?:devious:
I don't know. The only ghost I ever had got eletrocuted by his own computer. He rambled around every night scaring his wife and three boys half to death. On one very successful night, the master bedroom floor was literally half-covered in urine puddles because he scared them so much! IMO having a very scary ghost is highly over-rated.
ghosts You may be right about it being over-rated. It gets really annoying to have the television come on all the time. I'm thinking that if I can get the last remaining living Sim there to get out and meet a bunch of people, all those knowledge Sims who "want to see a ghost" can come over and make a lot of aspiration points... but he's a real slug and just wants to lay around on the couch. Time to sell that video game system.
