Simlish by Berlitz Has anybody thought of compiling a Simlish to English dictionary? Can't be that much harder than Klingon! How about everyone posts a word or phrase that they think they know? I'll start. Gerbit (noun) (plurel gerbits) (English) Llama: 1. any of a genus (Lama) of wild or domesticated So. American ruminants related to the camels but smaller and without a hump. 2. The mascot for a popular sim university's athletic team. Example: "Gerbits, Gerbits, gooooo Gerbits!"
Someone over on the TS2 site has a Simlish Dictionary going. Unfortunately, I can't look for it right now. (It's one of the longests post around, so be aware.) However, keep in mind that Maxis has said that they didn't do it like the Klingon language, but just did it randomly (without deliberately trying to use the same words the same way.)
