I need help with The Sims 2 Does anyone know how to lock a door? My front door is open and I can not delete it or lock it!! I can not click on it or anything because it states that it is "in use". Please, help I'm tired of being burglarized!!!
door This happened to me once and it was a bathroom door left open, so everyone who used the bathroom got upset that people were watching. I finally deleted the entire wall the door was in and started over. That did it.
This is a common problem. When it happens to me, it usually is a couch or a bed, but it's happened with other items, too. I don't know what causes it, but I know how to fix it. enter "move_objects on" into the cheat window and then go into build mode, delete it, and then put in a new door.
