I cheated death! I am so stoked. For the first time I cheated death. I REALLY didn't want this one to die; she was just hours away from retiring so she could take care of a growing brood of children when she caught on fire while making pancakes. Yikes! Her daughter pled with the Reaper for her life and he offered a choice of hands holding the life jewel and she chose correctly. Too bad, Reaper! Now I know why it's worth so many points to beat the reaper. Really makes your day.
Cool! This happened to me too, just yesterday. My first time ever dealing with the Grim Reaper on Sims 2. I really didn't want her to die. She had her first baby a day ago, and she was working her way up the career ladder. The trash compactor broke, and so I made her fix it (all her mechanical skills were maxed) and she got electrocuted!! Her husband pled with the Grim Reaper and saved her! It was awesome!
What I'd like to know is, now that you've pleaded with Death, is he on your call list? 'Cuz being friends with Death would just be too cool.
knowing the Reaper It would be too cool to be able to call up the Reaper. I've heard this can happen, but unfortunately not this time. He was pretty pissed off when she picked the right hand, after all.
I tried out the "Runs With Scissors Playset by ADD" one time, and my lame-o girly boy teen Tidus did something worthwhile in his life: he saved his dad Remington from the Grim Reaper's grasp. Ah, that boy can play a mean 'rock paper scissors.'
I'll have to try that once I get someone who actually finishes college and becomes a paranormalist. Still having a problem getting them through college, though it goes faster since I moved them to group rental housing. Sure, some of them get C's and some get A's but who cares? They'll all graduate, and sooner! I'll have to remember to try to befriend the reaper once I get a chance. Remington? As in the maid? Hmmm ... interesting choice. I would have gone with Benjamin first.

Someone did it over at MTS2. They posted it on a "Post a picture of your _______ sim child." sort of thread. I just went over and did a search, because it was an older thread, like, before Christmas. I couldn't find it. I'm going back over to try a more detaied search.
