Lots Of Children Is there any way of getting more than twins because I really want octuplets. That probably isn't possible but can you get triplets or more?
Twins seems to be the limit. Reports of larger scale multiple births appear to have been exaggerated. For example the gender of a baby is determined between the time the gestating parent goes into "labor" and the moment the babe takes on a simulated physical presence; but the status of a multiple birth is determined at "moment of conception" (that rock-a-bye-baby moment). Pescado may have more definitive information ....
Personally, anything more than twins is nuts. Even twins are nuts. One of them always gets more attention than the other ... why would you want 8 babies at once? Short of a miracle there's no way they'll all grow up OK ... unless that's not your goal, of course.
Twins were hard to take care of because mine were identical (even though they were boy and girl). They wanted to be fed at the same time, wanted their diapers changed at the same time...I had to move that family in with some relatives so that the parents wouldn't kill themselves from exhaustion. Let's just say the cousins are best friends now and share the same Greek House... So if octs are like twins, you're going to need a lot of help...and even then it's not even possible, isn't there a household limit of 8?
More than 8 is possible with cheats, or so I've heard, but I think you'd need a pretty powerful machine, as mine always moves slower with more than 6 in a house. I agree. As in real life, I prefer the kids one at a time, thanks. I did have a family with 10--no twins--and that was crazy enough, but at least the parents had built-in help once the younger ones came along ... no such luck with octuplets. Yikes.
If you really want to find out, you can have a look on www.varioussimmers.net under TwoJeffs forum ... Haven't personally tried it myself, because I battle to raise 1 baby decently (especially with 3 or 4 other sims to take care of in the same house), but you might have better luck
actually..... having more children e.g having triplets/quads is not exaggerated because i have triplet girls and that was without any hacks or cheats or anything but i think having 8 babies is a bit extreme but not actually exagerrated and it will make your computer run slow
isn't their only alowed "8" in the house anyway..so you would only be able to have 7 kids anyway. if u have a mom their too, and no dad i mean.
Twins is the limit unless someone has created a mod, my sims have enough kids as it is I;m going on 7.. but you might want to request a mod to a famous modder and he might do it, because I think many people would want to see their sims having octuplets or septencentilliontuplets
used 2 think same thing a I now what u mean but there is no way it's possible 2 take care of all those kids food and daycare and homework and shelter will be hard 2 keep up with not 2 mention bills and a partime job stress, stress, stress, stress, stress, stress but when they grow up lot's and lot's of money :bandit: rich and popular what I am trying 2 say is think about it and take your time first do 1 then 2 then three and continue from there
I don't think more than twins is possible. The only way I can think of is making a whole heap of kids the same age and maybe identical in CAS. However, I remember seeing a picture of Pascal Curious giving birth to four alien babies at once...I don't think it could've been fake because you saw all three babies on the ground and he was holding up the fourth one. Then again, they could've made the other two men pregnant at the same time as well.
