Help Please!!! Sims2 Crashing! Hey People~ First off, do alot of people have this problem? Recently I got Sims 2 for my computer. Well, now I cant play it anymore because it keeps crashing. Can anyone help me? What do you need to know so that you could help me fix this problem? I dont get anything except a box that says "application has crashed. application will now be terminated". Thats the whole error message. Not much help, is it? Can anyone help? Thanks. Ground0Angel
Hey Ground0Angel. Good to have ya aboard. Are you using a laptop? Have you downloaded anything? Did the game used to work on that computer? What has changed since then? How much free space do you have on your hard disc? Tell us everthing (but please leave out all sensitive military intelligence because I do understand that you might then have to kill us )
more info to go and crash? Hey thanks for the welcome~ Okay, I know you guys may not like this but it is on a laptop. I have exactly 74.5GB, 41.4GB free with the game downloaded. I havent downloaded anything for the game except the game. The game worked for awhile. I now try to load a family and the music skips and the message comes up about crashing and terminating. Do you think you could help? Anything else you need to know? I dont really know what you mean by tell you everything. Thank you so much!
Hmm. You downloaded the game? We do not support pirated editions of the game. Please confirm that you have bought a legal copy of the game with a registration code and instruction booklet from a reputable store or online seller.
I wouldnt do that. I did buy the game. I actually got it from Walmart online. I should have made that clear. Sorry.
Oh that's good. Sorry no-one has helped. I am up to my eyes in stuff at the moment. By 'tell us everything' I mean give us the full system specification of your computer. Go to Start, click on Run and type in dxdiag hit Enter and wait a short while. dxdiag will tell you everything and more. We need to know your system specs as follows: processor:- name, speed memory (RAM) directx version display adapter: name, model number, and memory display driver: name and version number
