any of the following stores within a 30 mile radius: Best Buy Circuit City Walmart Kmart GameStop EBGames (insert store here that has an electronics department)
...Isn't it sorta obvious? Why don't you go over and check the prices yourself, instead of making US do it for you? I just get mad when people ask really easy-to-answer questions on forums, and expect the other members to answer it for them. Unless they're asking something like, say, they found conflicting information and they want to know what we think, but this question is really easy to answer. Just go yourself!
You could always check the advertisements in your Sunday paper. I've found my Sims games el cheapo searching in that fashion.
Hehe, I'm 13. I assumed you were around my age as well judging from the way you type, but you can still ask your parents. Take responsibility! Show them that you want that game, and you want it now!!! Try asking them in a mature and responsible way, and don't just ask, "Hey, can we go get a video game?" Act like you're researching really hard and learning a lot before you go and get it. It worked with my hamster, so it'll work for you!
Well, then you're just going to have to get creative and IMPROVISE, now aren't you? That's how it works when you're 12. Think of it as a valuable survival skill you're going to need to master if you want to survive in life.
Pescado's right KSU kid. Your problem is in two parts. First the cash. Well if you're 15 you can surely earn some. Ain't the schools out where you are? Ain't it hot? There's money in hot dry throats. I Know cos I've done it myself. The second part of problem will cease to exist when you have some cash that you made on your own. Most of us find that spending money is so much easier than earning it ... look at Paris Hilton
.... aren't you on the internet to type this? So why couldn't you just search on a store website or Google it or something? I'm 14 and I've got TS2, 'cos I looked for prices myself.
A discount dept. store like Wal-Mart or Target might have it cheaper than say, Staples, Circut City, or Electronics Boutique. I have this deal going with my gamer son, age 14. He finds the game he wants, and finds the cheapest price in sale ads or online. Then he does chores and gets good grades, and within a couple of weeks he pays for it himself. Shoot, if it's a GBA game he wants, he can run next door and mow his uncle's yard and make $20, and then I might give him the other $5 or $10 and tell him he owes me. Since I've been a gamer since Atari's came out, I sortof understand what it's like to want a game and have to wait until Christmas and Birthdays.
Pssh. You see, the obvious flaw with that approach is that it involves an entire approval process of how you can spend your money! To hell with that. If it's your money, you spend it how you like! So if the store isn't anywhere near you, I suggest you walk! It'll be good for you, especially given how many hours you plan on sitting in front of the computer afterwards!
