How do I upload? I searched the site and can't find information on how to upload items to the downloads site. I apologize if this has been covered ad nauseum. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
I could be wrong, but I think you have to contact ManagerJosh and get a password or his assitance to upload files for download at this site. I'm sure I'm wrong, but hey, I just download, not upload.
Oh. He did mention something about getting me a password but I thought I could post without it. Guess not. It sounded like I could post a few things but if I wanted to be a "serious" contributor I had to show him my portfolio, which is way too daunting for me. But from what you're saying I'd have to do that to post at all. I just have a few residences and two or three community centers I was going to share, but this is sounding complicated, so never mind for now. Thanks, Kristal. On a related note, how do I give people benes? I have received a couple (thanks everyone) but haven't given them because I don't know how. This is my first BBS ever so please be gentle.
Your welcome. Anything I can do to help. Don't be discouraged about uploading, though. We need all the good contributors we can get. (And if I ever find an easy way to keep my custom stuff from piggy-backing onto my lots, I'll contribute, too. It infuriates me (hey, another big word! LOL) that I can design a house, not decorate it, not use anything but default building objects, and still somehow I end up uploading half of my "Downloads" Folder along with the house! GRRRRR! Okay, benes. As you are reading this post, run your cursor over the little icons under my avatar on the left-hand side. The second one looks like a grey scale? Click on that. Make sure to tell it either "positive" or "negative", because if you just leave it it will asign a "neutral" comment.
