Oh No!! I'm Panicking!!! AGGHHHHH! I DID SOMETHING SO STUPID! NOOOOO! Well, I was attempting to organize my Downloads folder a bit, but then, that infernal twitch my hand has--the twitch that doomed Francesca Dagraski to a horrible fate--DELETED MY WHOLE DOWNLOADS FOLDER! NOOO! I LOST EVERYTHING! I FEEL LIKE I'M GOING TO DIE! Well, now this has really got me thinking. I really have no life, seeing as the thing that makes me the most scared is the deletion of my sims 2 junk. I'm such a loser. Anyway, now I have to find everything and download EVERYTHING all over again. And this will cause some major glitches in my game, too. I might as well have deleted my whole neighborhood. But, then again, I suppose I did myself a favor as I hardly use a lot of the stuff I downloaded. It's going to take weeks to recover all of my losses...
.. It's times like these that I really value my smarter and older Internet friends. No, I didn't. *stops clicking frantically on links* EDIT: Sadly, none of the downloaded clothes made it through the catastrophe, and many of my favorite eyeshadow colors didn't survive, either. I'm feeling glum.
Yep, getting new stuff is always fun. And I'm sure you'll remember where you downloaded your favorite eye shadow.
Yeah, I downloaded a load of stuff at Unpretty/vanilla tango (whatever you call it) and Peggy Sims.... But it'll still be a while until I get EVERYTHING back, and more.
I really wanna know why you could not just get the folder back out of the recycle bin, 123. (Cos you haven't actually explained why ....)
Oh, I did restore all the downloads I could find from the Recycle Bin, but for some reason when I booted up Body Shop to check, none of the clothes were there.

Of course I didn't. You should know that I'm extremely empty-headed and possess absolutely no logic in my brain at all. I'll try it once my brother gets off the computer--we have 2 computers, and Sims 2 is only on the one of them--the same one that has World of Warcraft, my brother's latest obession.
Thanks for the vanilla tango tip. I'd never visited her site before. Too cool, though I'm not sure what's "unpretty" about it ... Got any others? Is there a list somewhere? I've got a few I really like, but you may already know about them.
Vanillia Tango? Not been there yet. You know what would be good? If everyone went to the Community Forums and posted their favorite download websites with the URL's. I'd bet if everyone did it, we'd all make some great new discoveries.
I'm obsessed with Sims 2 and WoW. Go figure. I rarely download items, but the ones I have...heh heh I'm obsessed with anime and video games.
WoW seemed interesting at first, but then my character strayed into this area full of like, level 5 beasts, and my character was only level 1. She died 4 times before I could get her outta there. Okay, off topic. Anyway, that's a good idea KR. But I doubt I could remember all of the places I downloaded stuff. Sometimes I just find something at this random link, or sometimes I'm looking for something particular, like really pale skin (what I think the game needed the most) and I go to a site, find the download, and never go there again...
Yeah I'm into the whole action RPG thing...WoW's my first mmorpg experience. I try to stay within the n00b zone when i'm lvl 1. So far I'm lvl 29 and 26...my bros are lvl 40's. Good thing we have separate computers. And that would be nifty to have the download thread.
Urgh. World of Warcrap. I cannot imagine why you would want to play this game....or why you are here if you ARE playing that game. Are the servers down, or do you just like giving Blizzard free money?
