Teleporting from meditating? I heard that if you meditate enough you can teleport while you're meditating. What happens when you teleport and how long do you have to meditate for to teleport?
I've had a number of my Sims meditate until they were able to teleport. But it's not useful like the teleporting from TS1's Makin' Magic. Even if they have the ability already (and getting to that point takes hours and hours of SimTime of meditating), they have to meditate again for a bit if they hadn't done it in a while. (It's like the ability goes away very easily.) After they've been meditating a while, first you'll see a burst of light as they reach the ability to levitate. And after they've been in that position for a while, the first time they'll get a burst of light when they're able to teleport. When they "relearn" it, they don't tend to get that burst of light signal that they've achieved the ability. (And since they only meditate in their gym clothes, they can't use it for things where you want them in their regular clothes.) One time when it would be useful to use the meditate/levitate/etc is when a woman is pregnant. They wear their maternity clothes for meditating and since they "freeze" their condition, it's easier to keep them in good shape when pregnant to have them meditate their way through it.
Thanks! I only meditate before her Culinary job starts. It's pretty useful since their needs don't decrease. I get my sim in a great condition and I make her meditate.
