a bunch of questions ok so when i downloaded some sims they showed up with giant bunny heads...is that because i dont have the meshes?if so how do i get them. also where can i buy sims 2 universtiy and nightlife?????i MUST have them. one last question....how do i get rid of doubles in my downloaded stuff.like once i export it i reinport it and then there is a little rainbow box that is the exact same as the thing i just loaded.
You can buy university at any electronic store that sells video games. Also other places to consider is Amazon.com, and a few others. Yep, that's right. There's something with that sim missing and it has used the bunny head for a mesh. Not sure where you're from. Here in the US, Uni is sold in any department store like Wal-Mart orTarget, or office stores like Staples, Office Depot, ETC. Also EB Games, Toys R Us, any store that ususally sells comptuer software. Hummm, I don't know anything about the rainbow box. Do you have a screenshot of it? As for cleaning out your Downloads folder, try this: Open the folder, then click on "view" in your toolbar. Then click on "Arrange Icons--by name. This will put all your files that have similar names together. Then you will just have to go through and delete each one that you have duplicated.
You have to get the meshes from the site you got the download from. You'll have to do some detective work to figure it out ... then go to the site and look for information about the meshes. Most of them tell you where to look (sometimes on another site). Just follow the links ... I'd be careful about deleting the rainbow boxes. I think I know what you're talking about ... I created a new eye color and forgot to do the swatch and it turned out rainbow ... but if you have several items for which the creator forgot to do a swatch you'll get a rainbow for each. That doesn't necessarily mean they're the same item ... again, you'll have to do some detective work. Good luck.
ok sooooo ok so how do IIIII create custom content like clothes and makeup and stuff.i know how to work body shop...sorta.lol. and where can i get downloads for tatoos and piercings or do i have to get uni??
Body Shop and good software like Photoshop or even MS Paint will allow you to make clothes and makeup and such. I think you can even make tatoos without Uni. I've never tried that though, no need for me to.
You can make, and download, tattoos. vanillatango has some nice bellybutton tattoos and piercings on her site, and I've seen other places too. Some places even have skins with tattoos that stay with the sim no matter what they're wearing, in other words, they're part of the skin not the outfit. I made a custom pair of pajamas that doubles as a workout outfit for my tattooed college sim and then made the same outfits work for adults because it was jarring for me to have him only be tattooed when he wore that particular outfit. The custom outfits have the tattoos as the "top" ... he can wear any pants he likes.
