Anyone know anything about a patch?

I got an e-mail from gamespot.com that said a new patch for Uni had been released. The patch fixed problems with packaging lots and various other problems, and then something about fixing problems with the Hungarian Language. I went to the official site to check it out, and there was nothing about it. I remember that at another forum there was an extended talk about a patch coming out soon, and so I was surprised when it was actually true, and then confused when there was not a patch offered at the official site. Does gamespot make their own patches? I'm so confused!!!!

It does look a little odd. The Gamespot list includes the 1.0.971 that is available at the EA site as describes that as the "first official" patch. But then it offers .974 date Jan 12 and .999 dated Jul 21 but doesn't describe them as official. Very odd. Anyone using them? Fess up folks!

That count looks about right. There's an original p0, p1, and a p2. p0 was the major first patch that came out shortly after the jump bug fix, p1 and p2 were slightly less heralded patches that fixed minor regionally specific issues. These were basically slapped up on the EA site with no fanfare, overwriting the previous patch.

I went ahead and tried it, being from Gamespot and seeming reputable. It tried to install and then gave me an error message that said my version of TS2 was already up to date. So I guess it's an old patch?
