I'm sure you're right. I'm glad they did University because there are a lot of things it added to the game in general. Just can't get over that feeling of dread every time it's time to send another batch o' kiddies through the ivied halls.

I don't know if I'm the only one on this, but I'll love the fact that the surrounding neighbor lots will be rendered, and that there will a nightime view of Neighborhood lots, and the flamemounted tiki torches really get me going. (Jeez, Im enjoying all the technical aspects.)

Yes, I agree all those things are cool. I've heard there will be some additional architectural tools like curved pools, which could be fun to play with. Cars will add an interesting dimension as well. I'm not big on cars in general but I can see how they'd enhance my sims' lives.

And they don't gobble fossil fuels doing it ...:D

Sadly, I'm really excited about being able to have half walls, in just about every house I have lived in, there has been a half wall in it and it has pained me that I haven't been able to do that in the sims.

I liked Uni as well for the added content and all that stuff, it's just that the theme of it all wasn't compelling enough to keep me stuck to my computer chair and glued to the monitor, I have a short attention span....:p

I love the half walls! It would setup the scene nicely for the kitchen where I love to make it sorta like a resturant! :)

I don't recall anything mentioning we could have curved pools. I know we don't need to make a square/rectangle pool shape.

I could be mistaken. I've read so many posts on this that I could have my info confused. I just thought someone had mentioned it ...

    intProp maxNumOfVisitingSims X

X being the max number of sims visiting. Speaking of which, is there some way of inviting more than 1 sim to a community lots?

It was my understanding that the number of guests you can invite over was also partially limited to your computer specs.

That's true for inviting someone over to a residential lot, but not a community lot. As far as I've known, it's always been 1.

BTW, I didn't cheat. I just have my sims call people like crazy after they invite the initial 2. The Sim who had 15 guests at his wedding had a lot of grandchildren with whom he was on good terms.

now that i think about it you can take your whole family to a comm. lot. but can only invite 1 sim to meet you there
