Google ready to walk the walk with text, voice IMs

They are making a bit of a gamble - but I think it's a good idea. But we'll have to wait and see how it gets on . . .

 

I dunno. I use Xfire because of its inter-game integration. It tells me what my friends play, where they are, and allows me to join their game (a must with CS: Source). I may get Google Talk, I may not. I like Google (I have a gmail, rowanstaff@gmail.com) but I dont know if I want ANOTHER chat / talk service.

 

I've always been a fan of MSN, like most of my friends. It makes life just that lil' bit easier for us.

I have trillian, I keep signing up for free pro trials.

 

I use MSN the most.

 

Well I hopped on the bandwagon (alone??) And I'll see how it is. If I know people who are using it, I'll use it... if not, I won't.

Doesn't seem bad so far, but of course I haven't been able to test the IM functions lol
