captain hero how do i make my guy go to work he is captain hero?? i kno he is supposed 2 fly or something byt he never goes to work and what if he gets fired what do i do??
There was a bug with Captain Hero going to work in University. Pescado made a fix for this. You can find it here: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/ffs/uni/hacks/ Check down the list. Look for captainhero.zip.
I'd still try downloading this fix. It's small. If it doesn't work you can just delete it. (I don't remember this as a University fix anyway. I thought it was a problem with the original game.) I never encountered this problem because I had this fix in my game before I ever had a captain hero. I believe the problem was caused by cancelling or queing up other activities when it was time for work. It cancelled the "carpool" for Captain Hero and he wouldn't fly to work. He should run out to the mailbox and fly off to work somewhat like Superman.
ok thank u so much hen my sis lets me on her comp i'll try it. i'm tryin 2 get a video card for min e so yea i'll be lookin for a lot of things soon
well now my teenage grl won't go to work or school!! what should i do should i delete my game and download it again?
Does the bus show up to take her to school? If so, is something blocking her way to get on the bus? Uninstalling the game seems a little drastic right now. How about trying a different household (you can create teenagers along with the adults instead of waiting until babies are born and grow up.) With a different household you can test to see if everything is working OK with your game.
yea the but comes and there is nothing in her way bcuz i even use move_objects n put her in front of the bus n she still didn't go. her child brother goes to school but for some reason she doesn't n the skool doesn't call for it either. well then at 2 she is supposed 2 work and she doesn't do that either.
Is she really depressed and unhappy? I've had sims refuse to go to work because they were miserable. Never had it happen with a child, though. If she's really unhappy, try having her watch TV (not the cooking show). If nothing else, it may just be a bug with that household. I've had buggy households that didn't ruin the whole game. If the household is bugged you can often (not always) solve the problem by moving the family out of it and into a new house.
It must just be that lot that was a little buggy. (Thinks to self: you really did well figuring that one out, Emma.)
