It's the same with me--for the last few years everyone had something important to do on my birthday, and we ended up hardly celebrating it. The year before last, I didn't even get a cake! Also, I've only had 2 birthday parties in my whole life. That's Asian families for you.
You know, I don't blame my parents for it. They both work full time jobs and come home to make us dinner and talk to us all the time. They do so much for the family! But when they want us to get off their backs, they tell us to go online or play TS2. That's parents for you!
Your parents TELL you to play TS2? Boy, you have it way better than me! My mom disconnects the Internet whenever she deems it necessary, and is as of yet still trying to figure out how to take TS2 away from me.
