    where did the people go?

Ok, I bought Nightlife, installed it as Im supposed to(making a copy of the game and all that), then I wanted to play any of the 3 starter towns. Same thing for a whole town build from scratch, Twin Peaks. They couldnt load properly! It cant go past the load screen, you know, the blue screen that loads the neighborhood. My newest town, El Paso Verde is also made before the Nightlife is installed, but that one works. I want my neighborhoods back! Help!

I noticed that some of my largest neighborhoods loaded very slowly when I installed Nightlife. And I have a good computer. If you have a borderline computer, it may have more problems.

The amount of detailing in the neighborhood itself seems to slow things down. So, the neighborhoods which have a lot of trees seen in the neighborhood view, for instance, load more slowly than one which was just a desert without much added to it. Perhaps that's the difference between your neighborhood which loads and those which didn't load.

I never had any problems at all with the Twin Peaks neighborhood. It loads pretty quickly though, but it doesnt get past the blue loading screen. Then after a couple of minutes the screen begins to blink between black and blue and everything crashes. Good note, though: The startertowns work. And the computer is - almost - state of the art.
