    Did you know?

That you can make whohoo in the cars?
I was on a date and normally the icon for "go back to XXXs place" appears, but this time, because my sim had a car, the icon was now "make whohoo in car". the windows steam up and the car jumps up and down. Funny!

Yes, they added that and woohoo in the photobooth. I believe that both of those fulfill the Romance Sim's wish to have public woohoo. (My Sims have never had a public woohoo want. They do frequently get "woohoo in a bed" however! Perhaps it's because most of mine are Knowledge Sims. At least they don't have their noses *too* firmly planted in studying!)

LOL at Kat and at Jake!! :D I actually restored the special event movies in case the cheeky Maxoids had added a new movie for the car woohoo especially as one of my uni couples were having a first woohoo in a car.

The game never ceases to surprise me though ... no matter how much I play I still manage to find new things to chuckle at.

LOL at Narragirl. The cars are in Nightlife but students can have cars if you also have University. It tends to come up as option as want for romance sims. I just noticed that Kat says most of her sims are knowledge sims ... :p that's almost like cheating, gal! Since the Maxoids brought out the reprogrammer cement mixer thingy I tend to reprogram my sims quite a lot. I think it's more realistic somehow because most people vary between different ambitions ... or get new ambitions when one goal is achieved. I always feel that knowledge sims' lives go a bit flat after they get to permanent platinum, and their aspirations always seem a little dull. Just my opinion for what it's worth.

    On a different note

About those aspirations. I have been playing Sims2 since the ame was released, have Uni and now Nightlife. I am also in love with the characters and I love to play them. However, one thing that has always annoyed me is, that lets say I want a sim to become a business tycoon. When I "build" the sim from scratch I make sure, that his/hers personality is such, so that he/she dreams of becoming a business tycoon. Then I move them in, and behold! The jerk wants to become a doctor! I have carefully chosen the name, the appearance, everything, and now this stupid sim turns its back on me?
I know that you can change the aspiration with the round, lightning thingy there, but that is only for what kind of person they want to be. I want them to stay the same, but just change their lifelong dream goal. Does this make sense?
    Please help

LOL Jake. Sounds like you need Pescado's college clock. This amazing product works without problem with NL and can be found in the odds and ends bin of the Buy Mode catalogue ... assuming that you download it and install it

The function you want is "My LTW is lame" (ie Please Gimme a New Life Time Want ... hey! This is a Pescado hack so it's gonna be quirky ... it is however completely safe and will not cause hair to grow on the soles of your feet, make you start spouting Euclidian geometric theory or convert your neighborhood into the proverbial BFBVFS :p

Just to clarify, Narragirl, you can only get cars with NL, but if you have uni the students can use them too. (Sorry, Mirelly, it sounded like cars came with both EPs in your post ...)

And to answer your other question, I've had sims roll the want to both have woohoo and woohoo in car at the same time, so yes, when that happens you get lots of points. Haven't rolled a triple yet (woohoo, woohoo in car, woohoo in public) but that would be more than 10,000 points by my calculations (3,500 each).

I've had sims have a "dream date" where the only thing they did (almost) was woohoo in the car. 5 times. And 2 more once they got back to his place. :D Gotta love those romance sims.

If I remember correctly "woohoo in car", "woohoo in public", and "woohoo with (particular sim)" are all worth 5,000 ap's each. And if you're on a date with a virgin, they will often roll "Have first woohoo with (particular sim)" which is worth 8,500 ap's!

This happens with my pleasure sims on dates as well. I think the programmers should have prepared a subroutine that makes you sims walk funny for 24hrs after a date like that! :p

ROTFL! Oh my goodness, now that would be a funny image, a couple of sims walking around like they just got off a horse!

LMAO, WereBear. I'm at work and almost gave myself away with a burst of laughter. Gotta stay off this site while I'm at work. Could get me in trouble.

So they added the concept of virginity to Nightlife? If not, I haven't had any of my sims roll the want to have a "first" woohoo.

Yes, apparently. London, back when she was a breather and therefore a little nicer than she is now, would always make sure her dates got their "first" in a bed. After that all bets were off. She's not real big on the bed version. :D She prefers cars, hot tubs, photo booths ...

Vamps really are meaner, BTW. She picks fights for no reason. And Spike, watch out. It's like letting a tiger out in public.

    Kind of fun, actually.

And I sit corrected, Werebear. I forgot it was more if it was "special" woohoo.

ROTFLMAO!!!!! Or have their comfort meter bottom out when they use the bathroom if it's a female sim. ;)

I didn't know that Sims could woohoo in the NL cars... I've had that expansion for a week or so now and have yet to play it... (maybe later today. ;))

I tried the woohoo in car option the other day. Leia "High Cheekbones" Curious and her fiance Amin Sims celebrated their engagement in the back of a mini van...
