Now that we can disable custom content, building and sharing?

I stopped posting my lots on the exchange when I realized that every one I put up, no matter how hard I tried to keep it "clean", always had hacks and custom content piggy-backing onto the file. Now that Nightlife disables Custom Content, I was thinking of putting up some of the homes I have built. I really want to share my townhouse, my starter home, my farm house, and my historical houses. Maybe even my Double-wides for those who are looking for more redneck fare. :D

I was thinking about starting a new neighborhood and disabling custom content, then building the lots and uploading them. Has anyone had any luck with this?

I'd like to put them up here too, Josh, so I can pretend to be an artist. LMAO:rolleyes:

I can't upload houses because I have dialup and it takes 10 years and then times me out. :(

But I'd love to download yours! And it sounds like your idea would work. Besides, I disable all custom content on my end, which other people can do too. I was enabling it but my game ran too slow. Once I get more RAM and a better vid card it may be able to handle some custom stuff.

Cool! :) I'll put some up on the exchange tonight and leave you the link, SBW.

Dontcha just hate it when you have a good Simmie idea while you're driving to work, and you're stuck all day in the office, nothing really pressing to do, with this idea in your head, and you can't go home and work on it!? D____, I hate being a grown-up!!!! LOL
