    The House of Fallen Trees

Anyone moved into that one yet? I moved Mercedes and Candida into that house and found a very, very deep basement with two caskets in it. Of course, since they moved in at 8 in the morning, and started smoking and yelling, they didn't have time to get all the way down there to the caskets (it's a LONG climb.) I bought two more caskets and tossed them in the living room until I can figure this house out. Then, of course, the wretched phone started ringing and woke them up. I had to move the phone out of the room.

What a gloomy place. I'll have to explore it some more this weekend.

I have 3 vampires living there. I moved one in before she became a vampire, so that I wouldn't have to worry about the 8 AM thing. That night, the other 2 moved in and bit her. :)

I started out using the basement because I thought it was cool. I would send everyone down there starting at 6:30 AM ("fly here" is fastest). Then I got tired of doing that, because the instant they got down there, they would decide they needed to take out the trash, or some ridiculous thing, and start walking up allllll those stairs again!

Two of the vampires hate each other, and one time, while they were standing around the coffins waiting for 7 AM so I could put them to bed, one attacked the other! Of course sim fights take forever!! So after the fight, I put them to bed all smoking. The one who lost kept waking up, and getting out of his coffin, just to cry about losing the fight. 5 or 6 times that day he did this. That was a major pain. I keep those two really busy so they don't have time to fight with each other anymore.

Anyway, long story short, I got sick of the basement and moved the coffins upstairs to the bedrooms.

LMAO, MangoOrange, that's a funny story. I'm betting I'll find that deep basement a pain in the you-know-what, too, but it sure looked neat when I first moved in.

Was the house too gloomy for you? I've tried lighter paint and more lights but it didn't seem to help as much as I thought it ought to. However, I've only been there for a little while their first night. Maybe it was the game graphics acting up.

No, I don't find it too gloomy. Vampires live there, after all. I made it more gloomy actually, but attractive. I used red walls, stone walls, stone floors, dark furniture, candelabras everywhere. I redecorated every room. It just looked too normal to be a vampire hideout. Only one of the bedrooms has an actual bed, solely for woohoo purposes! And I turned one of the rooms into an art gallery.

I also enlarged the garage to make room for a coffin so the vampire with a day job never has to go out in the sun. :D
