It's - so - HORRIBLE!!! Okay. I am going to breathe. I am going to stay calm. I love my MSN Messnger. Literally. And I had to go off the computer before. And now it won't work. *Takes deep breaths. 'In, out, in...'* I'm going to get to the point now. Some things you might want to know are: 1) We have dial-up. 2) I am not a technical sorta gal. 3) I have no idea about our modem rate, LAN (what does that mean, by the way? Local Area Network? But what does that actually mean?) 4) I have tried troubleshooting. Then repairing. But it still - won't - work! 5) My email address is oxo-emzi-oxo@hotmail.com . 6) It won't let me sign in. 7) This has never happened before. 8) My ISP (if that means Internet Service Provider) is AOL 7.0 . The first thing that pops up tell me that they were unable to sign me into MSN, possibly because of a problem with my internet connection. It gives me the option to troubleshoot (the code thing is 81000306). So I do so. Then it tells me the problem is with my Key Ports. It gives me the option to repair. I do so, only to find out MSN cannot help me. I am just going around in circles here. Please help me. I know I could be a little more specific. I just don't know what to be specific about! :shocked:
Try restarting the computer...if you haven't already . Solves most glitches If not, use an alternative, like Trillian or Gaim to connect to MSN . THat's what I use.

I've always wanted to go all over the world, but then I get freaked out because I imagine all the diseases you could catch in those kinds of places. My brother read a book about diseases once, and they talked about this doctor in Africa who didn't wear those protective face masks, and he was tending a patient one day and the patient threw up blood into the doctor's mouth! :vomit: Wow, it took me 5 minutes to find that smilie!

Trillian and Gaim are third party messenger clients. Basically if you have AIM/ICQ/MSN/YIM/IRC/Jabber, you can connect all using one application rather than multiple apps. If you have just one, it's a fun alternative as sometimes you just don't want to load another application to do something else like IRC. Cheers hun! Well 123. Once again, for the second time on a thread (created by myself!) I am the most stupid person since ever. I rang my Dad as soon as I realised I hadn't had my injections for South Africa. After, of course, I ran around the house like a headless chicken in search of my mobile - which later turned out to be on the chair I was sitting on in the first place. I had to use the house phone. Panicking so much I couldn't dial properly. When I did get through he was scared to death because I was ringing from the house phone, and I normally ring him from my mobile. This was at 11:45pm (he works nihts) so I can understand where he's coming from. Oops. Anyway, the long and short of it is that I can go - the injections I had for Mexico should cover me for around three years yet, according to him. Please nobody try and change my mind. I'll be happy thinking I won't be returning in a wooden box.

I would have gotten freaked out sooner or later, so don't worry! I'm going on Friday (1 week to go!) and staying for 17 days. I am restraining myself from whooping and yaying and being giddy. I am going to stay ... chilled. I don't want to get over-excited over anything from now on. Especially after last night's little episode. Ahhh. An island of calm.
