Did this every happen to anyone - toddler transition in a suit? I just had my second baby born in game and when he transitioned to a toddler, he was in a baby blue suit (with cummerbund). Is this a joke? The other two toddlers (CAS and born in game) both had pj's. I downloaded lots of baby and toddler clothes before this, so is this somehow overriding default toddler transition clothes (the suit is Maxis though)? The funny thing is, this is a child born from a male sim that my husband created. I created the wife. When my husband was little all he wore were suits and to this day he loves to wear them. He is most comfortable (and looks his best) in a suit. We don't have any children yet, so I just thought it was funny how a baby, born to his sim, everyday outfit is a suit.
I had one of my toddlers transition into a suit as well. Since nightlife added tuxes for the little ones it can happen...it's completely random what outfit they come out with. Mine happened to be a little girl and she transitioned wearing the baby blue tux! She got an outfit change quickly. Luckily her big sister had a cute little toddler dress left over...hand-me-downs work in sim life too!
ROFL. Okay. Thank goodness it's not just me. I was mad but laughing at the same time. I thought something was wrong with my game. I guess I have to buy some regular clothes for him now. I hadn't thought about the Hand-me-downs (I will remember that).
My vampires had a toddler who transitioned into that same stupid blue suit. Imagine their horror. I promptly bought him a pair of black footies. Didn't want mom and dad to freak out too much. (Tongue firmly in cheek here. Have you noticed that sims don't care what other sims are wearing? You could show up in fig leaves in public and nobody points. Kind of refreshing, actually ...) OK, complete aside here, but for some reason my Ashley Pitts prefers women with terrible fashion sense. True, he does like "everyone's favorite hottie" (lace-up corset and beret blonde) and she doesn't look too bad, but other women he has lusted after include Melissa Fancey, Sandy Bruty, Brandi Le Tourneau and Christy Stratton. Whassup with that, dude? Maybe he's intimidated by the classier dressers.
Yep, I've had quite a few toddlers transition into that tux since I got NL. I don't like it as a default everyday outfit. It looks like someone needs to hand the little guy a heart-shaped pillow and send him out to the wedding arch to be the ring-bearer! I very rarely have my Sims transition into anything but ugly, mismatched Maxis outfits. However, I had downloaded some Halloween jammies from SimsSquirts. During the month of October, every Toddler was wearing that outfit as his/her default sleeper. It was eerie. I have also downloaded Christmas Jammies from her, I'm wondering if, in a couple of weeks, my Toddlers will be wearing those??
So glad to hear this hasn't just happened to me. I was horrified! SBW it would have been so funny if you kept him in that suit. Those family photos would have been hilarious.
You know, you're right. Actually, he's turning out to be extremely normal, which I find hilarious. I'm going to go with it. Son of vampires becomes family doctor, moves to suburbs. News at 11.
Wow, I actually have been thinking of you as like a teen or yiung adult, and then you're like, my husband...LOL. Yeah, I rarely remember to check people's ages. Anyway, I actually thought those suits looked cute, but maybe I'm just weird.
I've had baby boys transition into toddlers wearing pink pajamas. Though at some points it suited the passive and crybaby fathers.
Which "you" is that? I'm confused. As for pink jammies, who cares if it's a boy or a girl. I gave up on that one a long time ago, especially if a family has multiple toddlers. More important things to worry about ...like getting 'em all potty trained.
PlayLives, . I always thought the pink pajamas suited toddler boys the most...don't know why. Blue jammies make me think the dad is too "macho" to be seen with his pink-clad son.
I'm still a "young" adult, LOL, Person, I actually thought of you as older until you posted your age somewhere. You seem very mature (and write like it as well).
I know that this is a bit of an older thread, but I just had to respond...I've never had the "Toddler-in-a-tux" happen, but when two of my teens (both in the same household) transitioned into adults, they were dressed in the Social Bunny outfit! I quickly changed their clothes, but the Bunny outfit also showed up when they changed into their pajamas and also their swimsuits! One of them I had buy a whole new wardrobe...but the other I figured just had a secret life...World Famous surgeon by day, closet bunny by night! When his wife moved in (former Pizza Delivery girl) she found a Maid outfit in the wardrobe. The two of them have quite an interesting private life playing "Tarts and Bunnies!"
