RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 This game is wonderful! I am a big coaster fan and also a Sims game fan. RCT3 (RollerCoaster Tycoon 3) is a game that lets you build coasters, loads of flat rides, scenery, etc. It's an awsome game! Doesanyone have it or has played the game?
How on earth did you know that Mirelly?? LOL Yes I am Although living in the UK you don't get a lot of chances for coasters and such.. there's really only Alton Towers, Thorpe Park and Blackpool over here that's worth visiting. I've got RCT3, and the two expansions. It just annoys me though how unrealistic the game is. I think if Maxis got hold of the game it would be great. (So if you're reading this Atari and your financial problems don't improve, you know who to sell RCT3 too ) (EDIT: Just realised my avatar has Colossus in it from Thorpe Park Has the most inversions ever on a coaster, 10! Mirelly should visit )
LOL I just remembered you mentioning RCT3 once and of course the avatar is a bit of a giveaway 10 inversions eh? Wah! Lucky they didn't aim for 11
I actually own all of the RCT games up to, and including, 3. I play them quite a bit although I haven't played RCT3 as much as I would like because I seem to be having some color problems with it. The colors on my copy seem to shift like when a program started to run in the background with the original installments, only this one is all the time and I can't fix it. :\
Play with the monitor off. After about 10 minutes, turn it back on. Now people can't blame that crashed coaster in the food-court entirely on your evilness any more.
I had that happen the one time I played RCT2... I left the game running all night and wouldn't you know it: about 6 out of my 10 coasters crashed. After the initial shock I had a good ol' time laughing at all of my once-costumers... Mostly because they spent a lot of money in my park already (entrance-fee took a large chunk of their money).
I once made a 3x3 tile island in the middle of this one lake map, connected it to the entrance with a bridge, and put the queues and exits next to the edges along with food stands and bathrooms that charged $5 per use. Needless to say, they all came in, and they never went out. I think I had to drown a good number of them since they never found the way back out of "The Island" after they'd spent all their money. Let's just pray to God that I never run a hospital in real life. Ever.
