    Welcome to Looserville!

Due to boredom and the fact that the holidays make me feel mean and evil, I created a little neighborhood called Looserville founded by "narcissistic knucklehead" Ima Looser. I then proceeded to fill the town with the dregs of simmanity. After much hard work I am proud to say that Looserville (better known as the Land of Fallen Aspirations and Broken Dreams) now has examples of all *7* aspiration failures. That includes our resident "Brie Burner" Bleu Fromage, who spends her days cuddling, kissing, and swooning over a wooden sign depicting a happy grill cheeze samwich. :D Pictured below is Ima doing her looser dance with a lampshade on her head, and Moe Ron lecturing a basketball while his wife Andrea panhandles.

So now, my gentle reader, I present to you:

The Mediocre (at best) Looserville Challenge!

Create your own Looserville and populate it with loosers. You may make them look any way you like and any age or gender but their personality points must be random (click the dice symbol in CAS). You can house them any way you want (neighbors, family, or roommates). The object is to have 7 different sims with tanked out (red) aspiration bars with at least one representative from each aspiration. No cheats or hacks allowed. You may micromanage but must leave free will turned on. You may marry off your sims and raise kids, but thou shalt not make the children suffer, only teens and older. Five points will be awarded for each pic posted to this thread that shows a resident of your neighborhood doing his/her aspiration failure animation, with a bonus of 5 points for each additional sim caught doing same in the screenshot (pic of 2 sims doing aspiration failure dance at same time - 5 points each plus bonus 5 pts=15 pts total.) A one-time 10 point bonus (honor system) goes to anyone who can get all seven loosers in the red *at the same time* (it's harder than you think!) and a 5 point bonus for each looser (honor system again) who gets promoted to the top of his/her career field while sporting a red aspiration bar (it is possible as long as you keep up with their "needs" bars.) Any one who manages to get all 7 loosers to do the aspiration failure dance *in one screenshot at the same time* has caught the snitch and will be instantly declared "Mayor of Looserville". Otherwise, tabulation will be made and a winner declared on Christmas Day (that's Boxer Day to you Brits ;) ) based on your reports to this thread. May the best looser win! :p

*The Judge's (that's me) decision is final
** Void where prohibited by law

Brill challenge WereBear!n I'm tempted to have a go. Meanwhile Boxer day? We have Christmas on the 25th don'y you guys? The 26th is called Boxing Day cos that was the day when servants received their annual gift from their employers, the vernacular expression for this being "a box". Many brit employees today still receive a Christmas bonus on the last payday before Christmas and most would still tend to call this their Christmas Box.

Time zones my friend, time zones. ;)

By the time it is Christmas for me, it will be Boxer Day for you! (Or is it backwards? I'm am sometimes directionally and temporilly challenged.) Besides, didn't you read the fine print? The Judge's (that's me) decisions are final! :D

Were, I'll play, but I need some clarification on the rules.

    1) Must this be a new neighborhood?
and 2) It cannot be any existing Sims. These must be all-new?

(hehehehe, rubbing my hands in glee. I've been getting bored with my same old simmies. Maybe I'll have fun torturing the trailer court. LMAO!!!)

    1) Well, I started from scratch, but if you want to make a Looserville suburb/trailerpark in one of your existing neighborhoods (or make a slum in your unpopulated downtown) I suppose that's ok.

    2) The "loosers" must be new characters to ensure that their personality points are random. When creating each sim the first thing you must do in CAS is click the dice symbol. You may then change anything but the personality points. Be creative...make them look like people in your life that you've always wanted to make miserable. ;)

I left the rules loose on purpose. It's not just a challenge, it's a fun way to take out your holiday frustrations on your sims instead of your family. :D

Good luck Kristal and happy torturing! :silly:

I'm sorry. At the risk of being called a stick-in-the-mud, I just have to say, it's "loser" not "looser." Looser is what your clothes get when you lose weight.

    I'm sorry. I just couldn't stand it.

Feel free to throw things at me.

<Looks around stealthily, motions SBW in closer and whispers:>

    Loosers can't spell.

    ;)

The double-o is used both to emphisize the "eew" sound a-la Ace Ventura and because I am a horrible speller.:D

But don't let that stop you from playing...mayhaps your contributions could be looser vamps? :silly:

LOL at both of you. :D "Loosers" can't spell. Too funny.

And I do indeed deserve to have dictionaries thrown at me.

I'm having too much fun directing my story the way I want it to go to do a challenge right now, otherwise your charming offer would be tempting.

    Have fun!
