Twins I got Twins for the first time, when i had just prepared for one child. I dont have a big enough house so i need to move out. They are so annoying! The are almost always awake screaming and they wake up at the same time and its really annoying! I CANT HANDLE IT!
I cant believe it... My oldest child just moved out and i got married and had a baby. It was twins... again. I got twins to times in a row, and i only wanted one... Is there a way to lose one of them? I have a to small house and i dont want to move out and i cant handle twins again!
Hmmm. The best thing I can think of to help you is to extend the house a little bit. I just had twins in my game naturally and it is hard work! The parents didn't sleep upstairs for days and the nannies wasn't much help. Don't worry, it only lasts for a few days. My advice is to sort out the twin who has the most dire needs first. Also, hire a nanny!
Whenever I have twins (boy, that was a long time ago) I just barely keep them in the green. As long as neither of them are crying, it's fine. Growing up badly doesn't bug me that much as their aspiration will go up again in like a day.
Often, all they want is to snuggle and play tickle. Gets them into the gold easy. But I think they need this attention from their parents. When I've had other live-in people taking care of babies they haven't been as happy no matter how much snuggling they get. P.S. Just remembered that someone here had such a small house that he put the crib outside. Never tried it with a crib but I've often had poor folk living outdoors because they couldn't afford to build walls around anything except the toilet. You could put other furniture outside for a while.
i just didnt really want twins again... everything happening at the same time with them... and i was only expecting one
Even though they're a pain when they're babies, it's really cool when they get older...so i think its worth it!
Yes, I think it is worth having twins because, they grow up fast and you don't have to take care of them that long. Anastasiya
I like twins but they can be annoying! I have twin toddlers right now too and they keep my Sims up all night and both my adult have to go to work so they're always tired. But they're not going to be toddlers for long though, they grow up fast.
I wanted twins so badly that i even tried the only cookie diet. Well it worked and i had two twin baby boys. it wasnt all it was cracked up to be i hated it, they grew up platnum so that was good. As lynet said all they usually wanted is a snuggle but the pain in the *** is trying to teach two children to walk talk and go to potty at the same time. Its all over in the end. xoxo
I know! I have toddler twins right now and I hate teaching them to walk and talk, it always tires all my Sims out!
Lol I had a sim who had an affair with the maid, and she came to live with them. He then had an affair with the new maid, who also came to live with them. Both maids got pregnant, and both had twins. I just lost interest afetr a while. Didn't even get to see the twins grow up.
ach that's hilarious! i wanna try that just to live in the irony.. on a different note is there and cheat/hack/mod whatever that woul force twins apon someone? i had twins once but they never made it past the baby stage let alone the first sim hour because i just exited out of the neighborhood and shortly after i got a new computer
I want to have twins too...! I also wonder if there's a way to "make" it become twins. It would be cool I think. Twins
I've also had two sets of twins in a row and it's exhausting but the long-term consequences of being exhausted and red are nil. Just about. Let 'em cry, that's my philosophy, as Roseanne said, "if the kids are alive at 5 o'clock, I've done my job." And if you really don't want twins, starve 'em and the social worker will come take one or both away...and they don't need to learn to walk or talk, they naturally learn after getting older. I buy mine a charisma bunny head and make them play it over and over. they're dirty, smelly, hungry and sad, but boy, do they have charisma...
I had a house once where everyone had twins. Try moving them to a new house if you decide to have any more babies. And LOL, Jiko. I never buy any other toys. I hate having them stand in front of the mirror when they're older, so I try to get as many charisma points as I can when they're toddlers, to the point of exhaustion, poor tykes.
Except I do like them to stand in front of the mirror as teens, it seems so age-appropriate, especially the skoochy sound of acne cream. And they need to change appearance constantly, so they might as well avoid homework by practicing romance while they're at it. Keeps 'em off the street, I say. Narcissistic little buggers.
