Lucky you! Enjoy. I'm stuck at my job this morning but plan to go home early.

    There's nothing going on today.

Ahh, nothing better than a steaming mug of hot chocolate after building a 6 ft. tall snowman. :)

Well, I rarely get snow days living in Houston, TX, but I do get to leave work almost 2 hours early today! (Christmas present from my principal). I think I'll take a nap when I get home. :p And, it's cold enough that I may just curl up with a book under a blanket with my puppy on my lap. Hey now: that sounds better than the nap!

I missed the snow in England while I was away. I love winter. I love the cold - that's why I could never move to a hot country. I love the rain, the cold wind that flushes your cheeks, seeing your breath in the air. Everyone I know thinks I'm weird. But I just love the sensation of knowing I can catch a cold any time I want! :D

Can I have first dibs on your house when you go, 123. If warming continues the North Atlantic Drift (a nice warm current) will shut off and Britain will get colder ... a lot colder like Alaska .... brrrrrr

Mirelly have you ever got up one morning in the Summer to find sand on your car? I love it when that happens, the sand is blown over from Africa. It's great :D Although you're all the way up in Birmingham, and I'm down south so I don't know how far the sand travels.

You may not want it. It's like a century old, and since it's on a slant some of the doors and drawers close by themselves, thoroughly freaking me out. We also have a nice creepy old barn with cracked windows, and one window all the way at the top of the house with one pane smashed out, and I always imagine a yellow eye staring down at me from up there, be it day or night. *shivers* But it's a nice size backyard! :)
