My dude disappeared and other strange happenings Ok, so I loaded my game yesterday, and my one sim kept disappearing seconds later. He was supposedly going to work at the time, but he disappeared from the household and never came back. The only way I could get him back was to not save, and rather to move the household into a new lot, at which point he was present and remained. But that was rather a mission. Then one of my other sims had picked up a teddy bear and when she stopped, it continued to linger with her. It is like permanently stuck inside her now. And I have another problem with a chair that is permanently stuck in a wall. Weird. Could downloading objects and patches be responsible for screwing with my game?
objects and hacks, especially, can make your game go all gooey, screwy and difficult to play. Patches on the other hand are supposed to make it better ... so long as you get your patches form the official EA gamesite: http://thesims2.ea.com/update/
