My sims sleep too much I would like to fix it so they use morev of their day I did roughly 30 minutes of goggling today and I would like to address the issue of how my Sims in the Sims 2 slack off and claim they need more energy. As a result of I happen to enjoy dictating what they do but I noticed they need 8 full hours to replenish their energy meter while in my real life, I can walk out on 4 hours take a diploma math exam and pull it off without losing any bit of constitution or focus while my Sims fall and collapse then Im forced to give them the infamous mouse click to get off their snoozling bums. My question is about whether or not you the community knows of any particular and careful method of editing the code so that makes my Sims regenerate energy quicker to assure m optimal dictatorship operating conditions of my characters. I have the university and nightlife expansion packs installed on my computer and now request this modification at your convenience
Ah, me. I can barely remember the energy of youth. Get your sims the most expensive bed. Other than that there are some objects that Merola created (e.g. the multipainting) that might do what you want. With all that extra energy I expect you can do the googling. Or search the forum here.
I currently have all my sims on a set of majestically medieval double bed set they spit out 8 energy, 8 confort, 6 enviroment. I'm out looking for a modded object that spits out x2 energy of my double bed set due to me hating lazyiness
Oh, come on! The energy 8 beds should get most sims up from near death levels of energy depletion to full greenness in a little over 6 hours. Of course lazy sims will take longer and get more tired quicker. I must conclude therefore, that Laserforce is an active type of dude who can get by on 4 hours worth of pillow time whereas Laserforce's sims are all lazy bums. Ways around sleeping include using the espresso machine (in conjunction with Pescado's Macrotastics hack (see http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/) that has a 'caffeination' setting to expedite the issue ) is one way. Many object makers have made beds that are energy level 10 (eg see http://www.modthesims2.com/). [Ed. typo in URL corrected] Another way is to dispense with beds completely and aim to keep your sims in at least a state of gold aspiration so that they can use the energizer reward gizmo rather than waste time eating, sleeping or ... well ... anything, really. Or if you're really just after an all out cheat, why not just go the root of the matter and download Merola's Multipainting from http://www.simchaotics.com/ and just renew your sims needs as you and when you see fit ...
I did a horrible thing to my lady sim Holly pumpkin I impregnated this sim causing her to be pregnant for 9 days straight givening birth to 3 children, 2 girls and a boy without taking a mere hour of rest because of all the woohoo's Victor had with her... I gotta act fast she's sinking into a depression and I fear the therapist will permentally remove her from the house! Please help me i never intended fathering that way! I also called the headmaster too soon infact and because her aspiration was education she's going to be out cold for a horribly long time. I created the husband and wife 9 days ago so all the wee children are a curse!
Hm she looks close to death. Don't you think it's time the hubby stepped in to help out a little? The poor woman looks close to death (the Therapist will not take her away but Grimmy can and will!) If she does die it'll be down to Victor to look after his brood and serve him right if the Social Worker comes and takes the kids into care. So says Mirelly, speaking for the Indignant Majority In Favour Of Responsible Woohooery
Sorry I over exagerated her unhappiness Great I was able to pull her out of dieing within the same 24 hours quite oddly speaking I just told her to help one of her kids with their homework then train a todler to walk and then she pulled into the light. I'm going to make her have another kid maybe I will make a family of 8 with 6 kids
Looking close at the bars, Laser, I see that she was close to starvation at the time of this last picture. I'd get all the bars solidly in the green before getting her pregnant again. Pregnant sims are delicate creatures.
The ultimate in getting then to be able to live without sleep is the Nightlife cheat code "maxMotives". Of course, there is also Merola64's Multipainting if you want to just max their energy (or other motive) or make it 1/2 or decrease it to zero. (That way you don't have to rewrite the object code. You can decide for yourself how often they need to eat or how long they need to sleep.)
