Dang Writer's Block Okay background info. I particpate in a Drama/Musical team at my church and right now it's a bit open season writing where everyone can write. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...-22&version=31 Ephesians 2:19-22 Our next performance/script revolves around that passage but as I was thinking of how to write about it, I ran into several roadblocks. What concepts/ideas does that give you? I'm trying to write a drama piece (short piece, 5-10 minutes) and having a bit of writer's block. Trying to avoid a political message
hmmm... initial impression: a constuction company of different ethnicities and sexes that works like the tower of Babel until the cornerstone is laid and then united builds up the church???
Possibly dumb question. Is the rest of the play set for teens including a lot of biblical stuff - such as Michelle's idea of using the tower of Babel? I mean if you were to use that idea would want to actually mention the tower of Babel?
My thinking was that plumbers speak a different language than the electricians than the woodworkers etc. than the hip hop than the valley girls etc. but understanding comes from the cornerstone... do you follow me?
Ahh - have you seen Mean Girls? Like the different cliques! And then in the end they all realised that they were just all hurting each other and then everyone was happy 'cos they stopped fighting! See what I mean?
